Installation Guide

While using mWebPlayer keep in mind following restriction that must be applied for any JME streaming software application. Built-in mobile system player does not support partial stream buffering. It means that media data must be loaded in full before playing. It is not a problem for a local audio file but impossible for a web streaming radio. To solve this problem mWebPlayer creates an own play buffer and fills it up with next part of stream media in background while the player is playing previous media part.

When it finished playing the first data the player loads from the buffer all available at this moment next media portion and plays it. And so on. Loading data into the player takes some time and that causes a little pause between playing two separate stream parts. Size of a media part (and its playing time) is changed dynamically and depends on internet connection speed, available memory heap and CPU power of your mobile device.

PsyTexx Audio Player is an PalmOS Audio player (for PalmOS3.x and 4.x) for playing MP3, OGG, WMA, MOD, XM, IT, S3M, WAV and other audio-formats, which your WINAMP can recognize.

Use OUT_PSYTEXX.DLL to convert Audio-files to PDB with different output size (HIGH quality, MIDDLE and LOW): just put this DLL to your WINAMP/PLUGINS/ folder. Or you can use the MP32PDB utility. To make PDB from MOD files: put MOD2PDB.EXE to the directory with MOD-files and run.

The PsyTexx needs sound driver Javu and AfterBurner hack (for devices like m10x).
