Mobile Poker Tournament Manager is a J2ME application that helps you set up and manage poker tournaments.
You can plan your tournament (blind structure, prize pool, etc.) and watch the tournament data (time, level, blinds, level time, etc.) during the tournament. You can also use previously made tournaments and modify and manage them. Mobile Poker Tournament Manager also includes odds calculator and chip distributor.
Planning a tournament
You can plan a tournament by choosing Quick Start tournament or by making a new tournament to the Tournaments list. Tournament can have following data:
- players amount
- buy-in (also re-buys/add-on/added cash)
- blind structure (starting stack; big blind, small blind, ante and time for each level)
- initial prize pool distribution (which can also be modified)
- level change type (time or table rounds)
- recommended chip distribution and chip set to calculate it
Following tournament progress during the tournament
Players can view tournament data during the tournament such as: tournament time, current level, levels time and levels blinds. When planning the tournament you can turn on an alarm sound that alerts when level changes. Players can also view prize pool, chip values and blind structure if set. Tournament can be paused and level can be changed also by hand.
Odds calculator
With odds calculator you can calculate Texas Holdem odds for two players (in future versions also calculations for more than 2 players and calculator for Omaha is added). You can use odds calculator for example to calculate odds for all-in situations during tournament. Its nice to know the precise odds before dealing the remaining cards...
Chip distributor
Chip distributor suggests optimum distribution of chips according to starting stack, amount of players and used chip set. Distributor suggests amount and value for different colored chips in your chip set.
