VGPS 2 offers you a convenient SMS utility which is able to use city street map on your ordinary cell phone without the need of having GPS receiver or Internet connection. However, if you have internal GPS receiver or external bluetooth GPS receiver, VGPS can work with your GPS receiver as well. VGPS does not require Internet connection so you no need to worry about connection charge.

This program recognizes position messages from a various types of hardware. You can use it also, to take positions from your cars built-in tracking device, from mobile GPS Locator, from Benofon telephone, or another hardware. And of course, from another Pocket PC Phone with this program installed. The list is growing, ask me if you want to use with your specified devices, not listed yet.
Note: if you will get error message when you lunch this program first time, please go to the installation folder and run TTNControl (this is a one-time self-installed connector for Tomtom, its requested even when you do not use this program).

I have just updated GPS IDEAS PRO once again this month to 1.5 version.
Why? Every time I stopped my car and turned the engine off I had to remember to disconnect the GPS and turn off the power of PPC.
I had to do it every time. But now GPS IDEAS PRO has a solution. It detects if the is supplied. Perhaps all of us power the PPC and GPS from the car socket. This is why GPS IDEAS detects the power. Every time you turn off the engine, you also cut off the power in car socket. GPS IDEAS detects it, automatically disconnects the GPS receiver and (after a 10 seconds delay and a voice alert) turns off the power of PPC device.
Thats all! When you turn the engine on again you need only to press the power button of PPC. GPS IDEAS will connect GPS receiver automatically and start running.
To use this new feature I added a special Gps/Power auto-detection menu. When it is checked, the feature is activated.
Please use TRIAL version of GPS IDEAS to be sure it is working fine with your equipment.
