Palm OS Simulator 1.0
The Palm OS Simulator is the Palm OS 5.0 system compiled native for Intel. more>>
It is not hardware emulation like Palm OS Emulator, but rather the real OS running on top of the DAL.
The Palm OS core is made up of the various system DLLs you will see when you open up the Simulator folder on your PC.
Because the system is in the DLLs, the ROM file differs from a ROM file that would run on Palm OS Emulator.
It contains the Palm Application Compatibility Environment (PACE, which emulates your 68k PRCs) and the various default PRCs such as Datebook and Memopad.
The 68k environment provided in PACE is effectively identical to the functionality supported by Palm OS 4.1.
System requirements:
- Palm Tungsten
- Palm OS v5.0
MSX80 Release 3
MSX emulator for S80. With this emulator you can play hundreds of games available on the Internet for the MSX platform. more>>
It is good (if not mandatory even) to know something about fMSX/S60 because MSX80 works very similarly and Im only going to explain things that are different here. Some important things you might want to know about MSX80:
System ROM files should be placed under /MSX/systemrom directory on the memory card (D: drive) or phone internal memory (C: drive).
Game files should be placed under /MSX directory on the memory card (D: drive) or phone internal memory (C: drive).
The emulation can be paused by pressing any of the four command keys located on the right side of the main display of the phone. Because of this it is not advisable to map any of these keys as MSX joystick/keyboard controls eventhough it is possible.
When pausing the emulation there is a small delay before the emulators menu interface begins to respond to key presses; dont panic if the menu seems unresponsive, just wait a second and try again.
In the menus you can usually navigate back and forth with the command keys or by using Enter as selection key and Esc as back/cancel key. Some options can be changed with left and right arrow keys.
There are two rendering modes available:
256/512 pixel wide which renders 256 pixel wide MSX screen modes as 256 pixel wide on the phone display and 512 pixel wide MSX screen modes as 512 pixel wide on the phone display
512 pixel wide which renders all MSX screen modes as 512 pixel wide on the phone display stretching the pixels horizontally when needed.
You should turn your phones keyboard tones off before using the emulator. If keyboard tones are not turned off, the emulators responsiveness to key presses will dramatically decrease making playing games very difficult.
Enhancements:
- Support for 92xx phone models (without MSX sound emulation)
- Support for zip file format (not in 92xx version)
- "Archive as disk" virtual disk support for zip (not in 92xx version)
- Support for quick save state & quick load state keys
- Support for quick swapping alternate keyboard/joystick mapping
- Support for user configurable data location (memory card or phone memory)
- Bug fix for saved state loading
- Bug fix for V9938/V9958 search command emulation
- Fixed Korean MegaROM mappers, now they actually work
- Corrected TMS9918A palette to match the definitions in the TI manual
- Bottom border rendering bug fix for 192 line modes

- Fake GPS (part of the WM6 SDK)
Emu48 1.23
Emu48 is not just another calculator, it is the famous HP48/49 PocketPC emulator. more>>
You should take advantage of any ROM since Hewlett-Packard has decided to modify its EULA: the ROM are included.
The latter can pass, but the keyboard is still illegible. Nice style but no improvements foreseen. Keep your original HP and dont expect anything more than an occasional troubleshooting tip.
Yame 0.38g
Yame emulates on the Pocket PC the Gameboy, Gameboy Color, PC Engine, NES and even SNES. more>>
Lets start with what it doesnt do: SNES emulation is not complete, dont attempt to play Mario Kart on your Pocket PC with this emulator.
Yame is a bit old and retains the menu bar at the top of the screen, as with Windows CE 2.11. This doesnt stop it from being one of the best emulators, notably with the older machines. It is, for example, the best NES emulator for the MIPS platform.
At the first startup, the program is in Japanese, but you only have to click on the S of Settings from Menu to get to Language which gives access to English, phew!
The options are extremely complete, as well as with audio and video, and the button can be redefined. Nothing is missing, it is perfect.
Although little known, without a doubt due to its Japanese origin and the absence of a supporting website, Yame is an excellent emulator. It is far from being equal to the (commercial) MorphGear, but according to the ROM that you have, it will prove to be handy.
MyUAE 0.91
Palm OS port of the well-known Amiga emulator E-UAE. more>>
Installation:
Download the executable and unpack the .zip file. Place the .prc into /Palm/Launcher of your memory card. Place the .zdk into /Palm/Programs/MyUAE of your memory card. Now you need files from the original Commodore Amiga. You need the kickstart file (.rom) and the disk files (.adf). Put all these files into /Palm/Programs/MyUAE of your memory card.
Comments:
Please use it on your own risk. You may encounter bugs or crashes. Im not responsible for anything. If you like, you can email me bug reports or feature requests.

Firestorm OS5 1.4.1
Gameboy Advance emulator for Palm! more>>
Firestorm now has GBA support! No longer will you have to carry around both your Palm and Gameboy to play great games! And with the falling prices of SD cards, it is more convenient than ever to store all your favorite games on a single small SD card.
GBA emulation speed will be determined by your device as well as the particular game. For example, although the Zodiac has a great control layout and a perfect screen, the processor is only 200 Mhz while the T3 runs at twice the speed at 400 Mhz. We have made every effort to ensure good performance on a wide variety of Palm devices, including rewriting the entire emulation core in optimized assembly and allowing you to control the frameskip or disable sound.
Current GBA Speed: 50-60% on mid-end systems
Rom Compatibility: 75-80%
Version restrictions:
- Only the first ROM file found will be available, and you will not be able to load any saved states or battery files.
System requirements:
- Requires PalmOS 5 and SD card.
fMSX Series 60 1.07a
MSX emulator for S60. With this emulator you can play hundreds of games available on the Internet for the MSX platform. more>>
Although recent versions of the emulation core still resemble the fMSX/Unix logically almost no part of the original fMSX/Unix code is left in fMSX/S60. I have decided to keep the emulator name as fMSX still to honour the roots of the emulation code and the efforts of the fMSX/Unix author. Critical sections in fMSX/S60 have been written directly in ARM assembly language to gain speed.
Main features:
- Emulates MSX1, MSX2 and MSX2+ machines.
- AY8910 (PSG), SCC, SCC+ and YM2413 (OPLL, MSX-Music) sound chips emulated.
- Supports ROM cartridge (.rom), disk (.dsk) and tape (.cas) images in uncompressed, gzip compressed (.gz), zip compressed (.zip) and lharc compressed (.lzh) format (zip and lzh format support is in the "b" and "d" variants only). Compressed disk and tape images are treated as read-only media in the emulator (any saved data on compressed media will be lost when the emulator exits).
- Four supported display rendering modes with 90 degrees rotation possibility (cw/ccw):
- raw unzoomed (only a part of the MSX display is visible in 176x208 display)
- fast fit (every nth pixel is discarded in 176x208 display or doubled in bigger displays)
- smart fit (same as fast but with a lone-pixel-detection, only available in 176x208 display)
- resample fit (calculates the average of neighbouring pixels for each rendered pixel, only available in 176x208 display).
- Fully user configurable keyboard and joystick mappings.
- Emulation can be paused and the machine state can be saved and loaded.
Enhancements:
- AY8910 (PSG) envelope frequency emulation bug fix
- 64Hz/48Hz/32Hz video refresh emulation option
System requirements:
- Series 60 1st Edition devices.
- 176x208 resolution display.
- 12bit color depth (4,096 colors) or 16bit color depth (65,536 colors).
- 8kHz 16bit PCM audio streaming capability for sound emulation. The sound emulation can be disabled if the device does not support this audio format.
