Getting Started
1. Configure the application
From the Edit menu, select "Personal details"
First enter a user name and password -- if the user name is not already taken, then a new account will be created for your webcam.
Please make a note of your user name and password, so you can login from your mobile phone to access your webcam.
Click "Apply" wait and if there are no error messages, then click "OK"
If you want to allow other mobile users to access your webcam, then enter their Whoosh Cam user names in the "Allowed list" - one name on each line.
2. Start broadcasting images
Use the menu "Internet | Connect"
If you see no error messages, then the PC client is broadcasting images and you should start to see images from your web camera in the application.
If the image refresh in the PC client is jumpy or slow, then try closing some other applications, because the speed at which the PC application can refresh determines the frame rate. Therefore if the PC client is running slowly, then this will affect the rate at which mobile client can refresh.

My Web News January 2006 is designed as a comprehensive collection of MCE application. It contains a menu system, file manager, weather, translation, menu editor, and music. The menu system can also be used as a programmable RSS reader. My Web News is designed as a flexible menu system with support for RSS Feeds through customizable filters. You can create your own menu structure and this way organize the programs you have installed on your MCE and the RSS Feeds.
The total number of news feeds or menu items is unlimited and news feeds and menu items can be mixed. A menu item can be any html page or url, but within MCE its preferably a hosted html application. As an example the alternative Start Menu page is added to Applications, with which you can reach all the menu items of MCE (this is part of the MCE SDK, but now in MCE style). You can add, modify and delete items under Settings in My Web News.

My Web News 3.1
A menu system developed to process RSS Feeds more>> My Web News is a menu system developed to process RSS Feeds, but it can also be used as a menu system. On the Main Page, Genres are shown, which contain Categories. A Category can be an RSS Feed or a hosted HTML page (use go directly to URL).
Go to Setup to Add, Modify or Delete Genres and Categories and to set the language and background.
My Web News comes with many predefined RSS feeds and menu items as they are used for the development of My Web News.
The predefined feeds and meny items are located in the "WebNews.reg" file in the "C:/Program Files/MCE-SAMConsult/Registry" directory.
If you did not choose to install them when you installed this package, you can still do it by double clicking on the "WebNews.reg" file.
To setup your own menu and RSS feeds, go to Setup on the main page.
First choose a language and a background image. Right now only the English language is supported fully.
Secondly define genres, which will be the buttons on the left of the screen.
You can define up to 8 genres, but its recommended to limit it to 6.<<less
