The available 5th digits are included in the description eg (0-4) or (1,3) etc. Common language has been substituted in many of the ICD 9 descriptions and several codes not related to OB/GYN are included in the database. Use the FIND feature of the HanDBase program to facilitate quick location of codes, remember to check SEARCH ALL FIELDS when utilizing this feature. If you dont like the order of the fields, go to properties and click on edit field order. Suggestions welcome.
