Some Palm M500s and M505s have sporadically quit Hotsyncing. One way to solve this issue is to drain the battery on the Palm until it is absolutely dead. Then charge the Palm back up and it will Hotsync again.
While this does not work on every Palm, weve found it works on about 8 or 9 out of every 10 Palms.
This FREE utility will drain your battery for you, speeding up the process for you. It should drain a full battery in about 3 to 4 hours. This program also has instructions on it as to what you are to do during the procedure.
This should get your USB Hotsync back operational. This is not guaranteed in anyway to get your Hotsync operational again. However, its about a 90% chance that it will work.
If your Palm will not Hotsync then you will need to get someone to download it and install it onto their Palm and beam it to you, or if you can do an Infared Hotsync or Serial Hotsync, then you can get this program on your Palm that way.
This is a handy program to have even if you havent run into this issue with your Palm yet. If this still doesnt get your Palm Hotsyncing then we suggest you call Palm Technical Support for further assistance.

FREEWARE - BtServer uses Palms Bluetooth virtual serial driver to communicate with other Bluetooth devices that support the Serial Port Profile.
It opens the Bluetooth virtual serial driver in server mode. This creates an RFCOMM listening socket and an SDP entry that advertises the Serial Port Profile.
Client devices that support the Serial Port Profile can then discover and connect to the Palm handheld.
The application works on Palm OS v4.0, v4.1 as well as OS v5.0 handhelds, assuming the necessary Bluetooth libraries have been loaded. BtSerial (on this web site) is a good Palm client to use to connect to BtServer.
With BtSerial on one Palm handheld and BtServer on another, you essentially have a very simple "chat" application.

PizzaDriver was written using HanDBase V3 and its companion form program. This is a followup to previous releases. It consists of 53 databases that are either related or linked together to provide an environment capable of tracking much of the informtion a food delivery person comes across in a typical day. Use of relational, popup, db-popup, linked, calculated and note field types are used throughout the applet. This release sees the general cleanup of the forms. In addition, two plugins are added, TextFormat.zip by DDHs Robert Machorro and Treodialer.Zip (by DDH). The Treodialer plugin is used in several of the databases and TextFormat is used in the DominosContacts database. All data is for verification purposes only - it is not to be considered accurate.
