This ASX playlist editor created because WMP 10 doesnt allow for easy creation, editing, or saving of playlists. more>>
Windows Media Player 10 was a nice improvement so that users could play purchased music on their PocketPCs, but WMP10 itself lacks some features.
Perhaps the most annoying of these (aside from the button mapping problems) is the inability to create and save playlists on the device.
Playlist Editor was designed to import your files into a playlist format that WMP10 can play: ASX. Version 1.2 adds the ability to load and save M3U and PLS playlists as well.
How to use:
1. To Add Individual Songs:
Click the "+" Button in the toolbar
Click "Browse" to find the song, and Click "OK"
The program will guess at a good title, if you want it different, change it in the Title textbox. (ID3 support coming soon)
Click "Ok"
The song will now show up in the list box at the bottom.
2. How to Add an Entire Directory:
Go to Edit > Import... menu
Browse to the directory you want by double clicking a directory
Check the "Recurse Subdirectories" checkbox if you want to include songs from all folders under this one as well
Click the "OK" button
NOTE: Import includes ALL files, not just music ones, Ill work on that.

A more Windows 95 look and feel to the Palm PC more>> Create a shortcut for, say, Calendar (with an icon with a name beneath it, just like youre familiar with), create a folder (like "Tools"), then drag the shortcut into the folder. Now, tap on the folder. It opens, showing the Calendar shortcut you just dropped into it. Tap on the shortcut, and the Calendar program runs.
Now, go back to StarTap (select it from the Start Menu again). Open the "special" folder, Tasks. There youll find all the programs that are currently running on your machine, including the Calendar program we just launched, displayed like shortcuts (with icons and names). Tap on one to switch to it, or tap on Delete and then the icon to shut it down.
All pretty ordinary stuff, for a desktop, but its revolutionary for a palmtop! AND its all "finger friendly." You can start, stop, and switch among programs without ever pulling out the stylus. All the shortcuts and buttons are easy to hit reliably with a finger tip (this doesnt apply to the toolbar thats used for the setup and maintenance of StarTap, but for regular use its slick!).
As a matter of fact, if you assign a button to "StarTasks", you can bring up StarTap with the Tasks folder already open. One button press to see the tasks, then tap on the one you want to switch to and youre there. Two presses and you didnt have to use the stylus! Of course, if you do have the stylus in your hand, you can use the StarTap icon down in the Taskbar. Vectorial selections: PhotoFiltre uses two types of vector selections. The first type uses automatic shapes (rectangle, ellipse, triangle, rhombus, rounded rectangle). The second type corresponds to the lasso and polygon.They both allow a customized form by drawing a shape by hand or using a series of lines. Every selection can be saved into a separate file, to be used later on.
Tool bar: The toolbar is primarily made up of drawing tools, such as pipette, displacement cursor, fill bucket, aerosol, brush, drop of water (blur), cloning stamp, smudge (finger) and magic wand. PhotoFiltre has some standard brushes (round and square in different sizes), but also some more varied forms (oblique line, leave, star, etc...).
PhotoMasque module: With PhotoMasque you can create advanced effects of contour and transparency on your images by using preset masks. These masks are grayscale images, where white is the transparancy color, while opacity increases as the shades of gray become darker. Black means complete opacity. PhotoMasque comes with several basic masks to inspire you to create your own masks.

EarTester 1.0 is designed to be a great and intuitive tool for you to test your ear training skills at a proficiency level achieved when completing the EarMan curriculum. Intervals are automatically replayed when a wrong guess is made and are sounded together with a maximum range of 6 octaves. In addition the replay button in the toolbar can be used. EarMan considers 80% as a passing grade, but you might want to aim higher.
EarTester uses the same high quality samples that are used in EarMan and also displays intervals in music notation. EarTester can also be used in conjunction with EarMan to simply gauge the progress that is being made or maybe just to evaluate your skill level in general.

SWBlowPad is a SuperWaba application that encrypts and decrypts a user-entered text and saves into a user-named file.
SWBlowPad makes use of SuperWaba BlowFish API for the encryption and decryption. It also serves as a text editor.
It has also the additional functions, accessible via the menu item, to export the typed text and saved as plain text or to open a plain unecrypted text file.
To encrypt the text to an encrypted file, just enter a pass phrase string, click on the "Open" or "Save" button to select the file, or enter a new file name in the case of saving. Be sure not to forget the pass phrase!
Currently, only devices with VFS are supported.
To install:
If you already have SuperWaba JVM installed, just hotsync the files, SWBlowPad.prc, SWBlowPad.pdb in the apps directory.
Install also XPlatUtilCrypto.pdb, XPlatUI.pdb in the vm directory.
