Timers view

In this view you can add any number of custom timers. You can set timer name, time to count down, a signal to be played when the time is over and its volume .

Timer Deluxe is the multi-event countdown timer of your dreams. With Timer Deluxe you can have three timers active at the same time, each counting down up to 5 events. At any time you can change the time or name of an event. With a tap on your screen you can complete an event. Timer Deluxe has big Pause and Resume buttons so they can be easily pressed. Instructions:
Choose your event names by typing them in their appropriate boxes
Choose your event times
Starting and Stopping
Click Restart to begin (or restart) the countdown
All countdown times are reset to the values in the event time boxes
All check marks are cleared
Click Pause at any time to pause the countdown
Total time since Restart keeps ticking
Total elapsed time and event times pause
Click Resume to resume a paused timer
Click the X to end a timer (cant be Resumed)
Completing an event
Check the box next to the event countdown to complete the event
Set the time to zero also completes the event
Removing the name of an event will also complete the event
Changing Event Times
Enter the time in the event time box
If the timer is active press the >> button to apply the new event time
If the event has completed the >> button will have no effect
If you plan on Restarting the timer you do not need to press the >> buttons for times that you change. When the Restart button is pressed, the event times will be set to their new values
Event countdown timers
The time remaining for an event is displayed to the right of each event
The total time remaining for all events is displayed above the Pause button
The total time since the Restart button was pressed is displayed under Elapsed:
The total elapsed time of the Timer (excluding pauses) is displayed below the total time since Restart
Options
Choose your event sounds by clicking the appropriate link (note: sounds files should be stored in your My Documents or My Music folder to be accessible by Timer Deluxe and not all sound files will play -- Choose .wav files and click the test link to be sure the sound file will play)
Check the Play boxes if you want your sounds to play at the end of each event or the end of all events
Check the Prevent Suspend During Timer to prevent your device from entering sleep mode during the timer. If your event enters sleep mode it may or may not function properly depending on your device, its settings, and any other programs you have. Checking this box will ensure the timers continue to count down and your event sounds play. Your screen backlight will still dim as per your device settings to save battery life.

Timer midlet allows to start simultaneously several times. Alarm time can be absolute and relative. It can happen once or with specified period. Different types of notifications are used: vibration, sound, backlight, SMS. Timers are stored in the storage so you can reuse them For example you can enter time needed for preparing some food (eggs, pizza, spaghetti...). Then you just select proper time and start it. Timer can be activated even if midlet is not active (at some models of the phones this feature may not work)

There four main screen in the program. The main screen is "monitor" - it shows state of active timers and allows to add new timer. The "List" command allows to see list of active timers and stop/change/remove any of this timers. "Settings" command allows to change midlet settings - way of alarm notification. When there are no active timers, monitor screen is empty. When you execute "Add" command, list of all timers in shown. You can select proper timer from the list and start it. If there are no timers, empty screen is shown. You can add new timer by executing "New" command. New timer can be saved or can be immediately started.

Timer form ask you to input hour, minute and second. For absolute timers it is time in the day when alarm should happen. For relative timer this values specify interval since current time. If timer is periodic, then relative time will produce alarm with the period equal to the specified interval. And periodic absolute timer will produce alarm each day at specified time (so period is 24 hours).

Timer midlet provides several way of alarm notification: sound (it is possible to configure frequency, volume and note of the signal), vibration, backlight and sending SMS. Also it is possible to specify duration of the alarm - period within which sound, vibration and other effects are produced. In case of alarm midlet shows model alarm alert which is visible until user execute "Dismiss" command. The command also stops sound, vibration and backlight. To be able to send SMS, it is necessary to specify destination phone number in settings. Unfortunately at most of the phones this mechanism will not work since phone will ask user permission for midlet to send SMS each time when it tries to send SMS.
