How it works

MOTOR (Messages On The Open Road) is a freeware application that displays Burma-Shave slogans and Knock Knock jokes on billboards as they might appear to a person driving down a highway. Messages can also be displayed in a simple text format. (Note: Burma-Shave is a registered trademark of American Safety Razor.)

This application can easily process 300 to 400 Text Votes over a 5 minute period. The gating factor for this application is the speed which your Network Provider can forward SMS Text messages to the phone running SMS Voter.

- This application will only run on a Windows Mobile Version 5 (or later) Smartphone and requires a memory card to be installed in the phone. You must install the Compact Framework V2 and SQL Server Mobile on to the memory card.

What does it do? It places any upcoming birthday (from one day to one year away) on your start-up page and includes: the persons date of birth, name and age.

The sad part is that you will have to create a list of all the people whose birthday is worthy of remembering because you cannot link to them from your contact list.
