SmartTech is a tool of communication allowing the data exchange between a PocketPC or a Smartphone and a workstation on which is running a SSH server to access to files or databases on it.
The system rests on a protected connection between PocketPC and the distant waiter.
The interest of the project is to communicate from its PocketPC towards any type of architecture, in the only condition that is installed a SSH server on it.
Thanks to an intuitive graphic interface (drag drop), you have the possibility of interacting with your waiter in all simplicity and in an entirely protected way.

This simple yet powerful utility allows tax practitioners to take Tax Forms on the road with them and print them with any Infrared (IrDA) compliant printer. Forms available from the IRS (http://www.irs.gov/) in Hewlett Packard Printer Control Language (PCL) or Adobe Post Script (PS) formats can be downloaded and saved to your PocketPC device or memory card and subsequently printed with IRPrintTax.

This software is currently provided as Freeware given its simplicity of function. Given the slow nature of IrDA communications, medium and large sized files may take several minutes to print. What you loose in speed you gain in portability.

Cannon Blocks is a fast paced shooting game. It has the simplicity of a Tetris game and its addictivity, nevertheless the game is much more faster. You control a small cannon that can throw/shoot blocks. You can move the cannon to the left and to the right. In the game you have a rows of descending blocks coming down on your cannon. Every block is attached to its upper block.

Quad is the classic strategy game that you may not have heard of. Designed by G. Keith Still in 1979, his goal then was to develop a quick to play but complex game with fewer rules than Go. Ewan Spences goal now is to bring you this unusual yet highly compelling strategy game to your palmtop.
The aim of Quad is simple. You have to make the four corners of a perfect square (a quad) with your attacking marbles, while at the same time stopping your opponent doing the same. To aid you, you also have six blocking stars. These stop your opponent finishing a quad, but they also block you!
I wrote Quad for two reasons. The first was to see if i could do an A.I. opponent that played a challenging game against both a noivice and an experienced player. I think I succeeded there. I also like the complexity of the game - and if you stick with Quad and experiment with strategies, I hope you will enjoy it too. Maybe if I work out an SMS based version I can challenge you to a game in the future!
