Usage

Select "Send..." from the menu
Select "SMS"
The text is pasted into the message, now you can fill in the "To:" field and click Send

Limitations

It can only send Text, exactly like if you typed it yourself. The receiver will also get the data as text only. For Memos this is obviously not a problem. For Contacts, Calendar events, and Tasks you can use RNS:: TreoVCardReceiver to automatically transfer the incoming data into the associated application.
The amount of text is limited by the medium, you cannot send more than a few hundreds of characters.
And of course no binary data (it would be hard to find the binary file to match the size limit anyway).

What about the built-in Messaging/MMS?

On the Treo 600 you can send this kind of data with the built-in MMS application (call "Send", pick "MMS") - but there is no option to select SMS instead of MMS. On Treo 650 it is called "Messaging" instead of MMS and it is even worse (all you get is: "The messaging application does not support this type of item.").

A.C.T.2 is a tool to select the extended characters not available from the keyboard for use in documents, email, coding, and HTML pages.

Its basic functionality is that of Charmap.exe under Windows 95 / 98 (and NT, 3.0, 3.1, 3.11, etc. - but not CE).

It easily allows the entry of such things as: Ð, Æ, ©, ß, ¥, and 1⁄2 into text documents (pWord, email, etc.). Without A.C.T.2 youd need to know that the above string could be entered as ALT+208, ALT+ 198, ALT+169, ALT+223, ALT+165, and ALT+189 respectively. Colonization of Mars - You have ambulances, fire engines, military vehicles and army fighters. When an alien vehicle or shuttle appears, you should quickly find it. After that send an attack vehicle (if the alien is a vehicle) or an army fighter (if the alien is a shuttle) to it. This vehicle or army fighter attacks the alien, if it arrives in time. If they do not arrive in time, the alien vehicle or shuttle crashes into an unspecified building, which ignites. You should send immediately ambulance or fire engine to the burning building. The fire engine puts out the fire and the ambulance transports the wounded people to the hospital. The score is calculated according to the city damages.

The Exterminator is obsessive and challenging new game. Your mission is to kill all enemies on the screen by tapping on them. You must save the world from the terrorists and make it a better place to be born in. To make the enemies disappear youll have tap on them with the stylus. Next to each terrorist there are two bars - a red bar showing his health and power and a blue one - displaying the time you have to kill him. Sometimes the enemy might escape and become invisible - in this case only the two bars remain on the screen. You must hit the hidden enemy to make him reappear on the game field. Be careful, when you hit a red enemy he will be moved somewhere else on the screen.

Fish-Globe - the goal of the game is to free as many fishes as possible. You will do this by grouping three or more fishes of the same color together. The fishes appear at the bottom of the screen in couples. Move them either with the keys or with the pen to where you want them to be released.
