- Ive fixed a mistake i ve make in the 0.8 version where the notification arent registered after a reset due to two line swapped in the source code. Its result that sheduled update dont work after a reset (like a NVBackup save).
- Ive also fixed an other bug, when you try to make a search without text in the search field in 0.8 it ll crash the palm. Its now fixed.

ProfileEngine 1.0 is a great addition to a programmer's toolkit. It is actually a Python extension that allows access to the ProfileEngine API which is available on 3rd edition FP1 phones (and newer). It has limited functionality: it allows getting/setting the current profile and retrieving a list of available profiles.

Note: On 3rd edition phones Python extensions need to be signed using the same certificate and the same capabilities as the Python SIS file itself. If signed differently or using different capabilities, installation will work but you'll get KErrAccessDenied errors at run-time.

SETIstat retrieves your SETI@home personal stats and display them on your Palm device. It is useful for those who have an Internet connection on their Palm and want to check their stats while on the road. Just configure the email address you used to register with SETI@home in Options/General and tap the Refresh button.

SETIstat requires a properly configured network connection on your Palm. When the Refresh button is pressed, it opens a HTTP connection to the server at Berkeley and retrieves the HTML page that contains your stats. This page is accessible at the SETI@home User Account Area. The page is then parsed and formatted to the fit your device display. In order to see the whole page, use the Up/Down hardware buttons to scroll through it. This page is just for displaying information, you can not follow any links. If the site administrators drastically change the page format, it is possible that SETIstat no longer recognizes its information, but this is unlikely to happen. If something goes wrong, an appropriate error message is displayed.

SETIstat supports both grayscale and color displays, and also QVGA (Handera) and Hires (Sony) high-resolution displays. PalmOS 3.5 or greater is required. It was tested on POSE and on the PalmOS Simulator.

- Only two packets (request and response) with 48 bytes of payload data each are used to retrieve the correct time. Just for one megabyte of traffic you can perform the time synchronization more than 5000 times (this is about 15 years if synchronizing the time once a day).

- SP TimeSync does not need any administrative privileges, installation is not required, you can run it from any folder with read-only access rights (write-protected floppy disk, CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, USB Flash drive, flash memory card, shared network folder etc).

- You can download and install the language pack for SP TimeSync. This will let you chose the language you prefer for displaying all the text strings and messages. If your native language is currently absent in the language pack, you can easily make the appropriate translation yourself.
