QDz is a simple application for Contact.

Operation:
5 navigation buttons :
(1) Move to left tab
(2) Move to right tab
(3) Move to upper contact list.
(4) Move to lower contact list.
(5) Select and show contact detail.
Keyboad :
A - Z ... jump to [A - Z] tab.
# / 1 / 9 ... jump to [#] tab.
- / 2 / 0 ... jump to [*] tab.
Tap screen :
Tap [A - Z # *] tab ... jump to [A - Z # *] tab.
(Triple tap ... [A] -> [B] -> [C] )
Click contact list ... show contact detail.

Associates, remove or export in mass, by the quickest possible way, specific pictures in your contacts.
Import and Export the ringtones association (the file format is clear and intuitive to allow a quick reorganisation of the contacts specific ringtones). You can make some different ringtone files to make some kind of profiles !

Contact Linker allows to automatically associates (with a single click) all the image files in a specific directory (and with a specific name like "LastName_FirstName.ext") to the matching contact found in the phone memory (and not in the SIM). The filename template can be changed in a configuration menu
The image format file may be one of the ones recognised by the phone (jpg, gif, bmp …).
The pictures are imported from the following directory by default: "d:Media filesimageContacts".
The pictures already stored in the contacts may be overwritten.
The stored picture format in the contact is jpg with a quality of 90%.
Contrary to the default contact application, Contact Linker does not resize your pictures (in the default application, the stored width cant be bigger that 208 and the stored height cant be bigger that 197). A name like "LastName_FirstName.jpg" will be created for each contact (with an associated picture).

Power Contacts adds the following options to the Contacts pop-up menu:

Create Appointment - creates an appointment with the contact as the attendee and the subject.

Create Task - creates a task with the contact as the subject.

Open Web Page - opens the web page associated with the contact.

BitsInside Contacts is a new contact management application.

It is only a new interface for the Outlook address book. It appears that it is not perfectly compatible with Pocket PC 2002. The database format has changed with WM2003 and I wonder if everything has been accounted for, as the program has some strange behaviour when I enter a company in the field.

The idea doesnt seem bad, especially with the ability to search through the whole database, the screens are not bad with the information presented in a summarised fashion, but the faults outlined above are critical in my opinion.

Note: you need to enter some info at the authors site to register the program once the installation is done, User: promo and Key: 243-58898379-12. The program is only freeware for private, non-commercial use.

Contact manager is a finger friendly contact application for PDA phone, it will allow you to scroll to you list of contacts, call them and edit them.
Whats different from other contact application:
- It can be used with fingers, no need to get your stylus. Finding contact with your finger is really easy, its different than other software: if you press you finger on the left or right border of the screen it will allow you to select the letter youre searching for, release the finger, it will show you the contact starting with this letter. Why does it work? Human being cannot point directly to the right letter on a small screen, however human are very precise while moving their finger. So you press the screen, see the feedback, adjust the position to the right letter... and youre done!
- Its animated: the list scroll with your finger in a natural movement, the transition between contact detail and contact list are animated.
- You can set contact as favorites, they will appear in the favorite list, perfect to get a quicklist of contacts under the finger.
- You can edit your contact picture from the software, simply tap on the contact picture.
- You can customize about everything by changing the setting.ini: color, font, background image, etc...

ToneDialer helps you dial telephone number from your Contacts database.

It only recognises the Full Name field from Outlook, so if you have Companies without a Contact, no label appears, and I couldnt find any option to configure it.

Chord Dialer is a guitar chord service for mobile phone users. You select a chord name, Chord Dialer looks it up on the Net, and a chord diagram appears on your phone (see example above) . Alternatively, place fret dots on a virtual fretboard, and Chord Dialer will try to name the chord for you.
