Lets agree on two things: modern Pocket PCs are cool and old Atari 8-bit computers were cool. For those of you that have the first and miss the second, my small gift - 8-bit Atari emulator for Pocket PC. I hope you will enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed working on it.

This emulator is a port of open source Atari800 emulator. There are other ports to other platforms - DOS, Windows, Linux, etc. What makes this one special is that you can play with it anywhere you want. Pocket PCs are truly portable devices. They are also quite powerful. You should be able to play most games with sound without any problems.

In addition to a few 8-bit computers (800, 800XL, 130XE) this emulator also includes preliminary support for the Atari 5200 console. I never had one of these but I am pretty sure that some of you will enjoy reviving old memories.

Palm OS port of Heretic. This port is based on ZHexen from yoyofr the glHeretic and WinHeretic ports. "Heretic" is a registered trademark.
Installation:
Download the executable and unpack the .zip file. Place the .prc into /Palm/Launcher of your memory card. Place the .zdk into /Palm/Programs/ZHeretic of your memory card. Now you need files from the original Heretic. You can also use the files from the demo version. Place the .wad files into /Palm/Programs/ZHeretic of your memory card.

PocketConsole (ARM) 1.3 is a free software designed to provide a console device for Pocket PCs. Consoles manage input and output (I/O) for character-mode applications (applications that do not provide their own graphical user interface).

PocketConsole has built in advanced features from the Windows NT console. Since PocketConsole is full compatible with Microsoft's Windows CE device driver model you can run any character-mode application written for Windows CE Handheld's on your Pocket PC without modification.

On the applications page you can download some character-mode programs which run on PocketConsole. If you are a Pocket PC software developer, then PocketConsole will simplify porting console mode applications from Windows and Unix to the Pocket PC.

Enhancements:

• The PocketConsole menu has been changed to accord with the PocketPC design guidelines. (You will find the Close button under the Tools menu now);
• Add QuickEdit button at the command bar;
