PDB Converter is a Windows (9x/NT/2000/Me/XP) application designed to create, edit, or convert between standard NSBasic-compatible PDB databases and Excel 4 or 5 worksheets, CSV files (quoted or unquoted), and text files (delimited or non-delimited).

PDB Converter accommodates pure string (text) databases of up to 16384 records, 255 fields per record, and 255 characters per field.

PDB Converter uses a spreadsheet interface making it ideal for creating or editing databases, and can run in "command-line" mode for unattended, automatic conversions.

CSV (not PDB) files supported by MobileDB, jFile, HanDBase, Excel, Access, and other spreadsheet/database applications.

PDB Converter has been tested on Windows 95/98/98SE/Me/NT/2000/XP, and works well with databases created with NSBasic for Palm, and string-based PDB files created using PalmDB.DLL, and can read most HanDBase PDB databases.

Starting with version 4.0, PDB Converter can install PDBs after they are created (in both interactive and command-line modes), so they are transferred at next HotSync.

This database is used to record software and hardware purchases. It is especially designed to maintain a record of version upgrades for the PDA. If using the form, most of the fields are labeled. A Java Jar File to dump the built-in ExpenseDB.pdb of the Palm. It should be compatible with all kinds of Palm os. Up to now the file format of the ExpenseDB has not been changed. Export the Database using tools like pilot-xfer or backup Buddy. The labels of the columns are listed in the first line of the dumpfile. Because of Java it is Palttform independent

This zip file consist of 2 files. Conversion_data.pdb contains unit information that is used in conversion. Conversion.pdb is the actual application that is used to convert units. Conversion From and To units are selected from DB Popup. Input contains the units to convert from. You will require an unzip program to extract these two files
