PalmOS Database Automation Server (PalmDB) is a COM component that allows full management of PalmOS Data databases when storedon a desktop.
These come as .pdb files which encompass a binaryrepresentation of the database.
The primary use of this server is from scripting languages such asVisual Basic and Visual Basic for Applications. It may of course beused from any COM client written in any other languages.

palmfs is a PalmOS filesystem access software for Linux, based on FUSE. It consists of two parts, a client and a server. The client is a FUSE-based application running on the Linux system.

The server part is a PalmOS application that actually executes commands sent by the client. It is intented to support various communication ports and to access the PalmOS internal filesystem as well as expansion cards.

PalmDSC is a free program that will let a PalmOS handheld interface with a telescope DSC encoder system.

It has databases for the Messier objects, the entire NGC/IC catalog, the planets, etc.

PalmDSC is robust and easy to use in the field. The C-language source code is also available.
