Pente 1.5
Pente is the English name of the Asian game of ni-nuki, which is itself a version of the game of go-moku. more>>
Pente is played on a 19x19 grid with stones in two different colors. Each player chooses one set of stones; then the players take turns placing their stones on any unoccupied intersection until one player wins.
There are two ways to win: If a player gets five or more stones in a straight line (across, down, or diagonally), or captures five pairs of the opponents stones, that player wins.
Stones may be captured in pairs only. To capture a pair of stones, a player must place one stone on either side of the pair. When the second side is placed, the center two stones are captured. This counts as one capture. The game continues until a player gets 5 in a row or captures 5 pairs.
The computer playing levels get rather slow at level 5 and 6. The number of moves that need to be examined grows wildly as the search depth increases.
Enhancements:
- Did some updating due to testing with the latest PalmOS development tools and the PalmOS 5.0 visual glitches. Things should be consistant between all PalmOS versions now and a non-critical bug was found and killed.

GoREst 0.2 is famous among lots of users to forecast how many EGF points they will gain or lose in their next go match.
GoR Estimator allows Go (weiki, baduk) players in European tournaments to guess in advance how many EGF points they will gain or lose in their next go match, based on their own and their opponents Go Rating Score, handicap...
It is a tiny J2ME application for use in small devices like mobile phones. It helps Go players to know how important their next match will be.
Formulas used come from the official European Go Federation pages. Since they use approximations, only an estimation can be made. The rating for each player is officially handled by EGF, and it is updated once per month.
Major Features:
- Use of EGF formulas. (Exp uses an approximation, but it should be good enough).
- A= weaker player, B= stronger player
- Support for any result (A wins, B wins, jigo)
- Support for different types of tournaments: Type A, B or C
- New Go Rating for both players.
Requirements:
- MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1

Pocket RackO 1.32 is a fantastic card game created by Parker Brothers with the aim of obtaining 10 numbers, in numerical order, in ones hand. The object is to score points. Each round, you replace cards in your rack so their numbers read in any numerical progression from a low number at the front to a high one at the back (the racks hold the cards behind each other) - achieving this ends the round. The cards are numbered from 1 to 60; you initially place them in your rack in the order they are dealt. On your turn, you draw from the deck or the discard pile, swapping the card with one from your rack.

Flipper 1.4
A free Othello game. more>>
The object of Flipper is to have more pieces of your colour on the board at the end of the game than the other player has. The game is over when all the squares on the board have been filled or no legal moves exist.
To make a move, select any square that is next to a square that contains a piece of your opponents colour such that it completes a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row such that a piece of your colour is on both ends. When you trap your opponents pieces in this manner they are turned into pieces of your colour.
A move may result in trapping pieces in multiple dirrections, provided they are in direct line with the played piece.
Legal moves *must* trap at least one piece of the opponent. If you can not make a move, your turn will be skipped.
The "turn" is indicated by the arrow pointing to the players piece in the status bar. In the case where a player can not make a legal move, the turn is automatically passed to the other player. If both players can not move, the game is over.
The skill levels are rather interesting. In order to make the lower levels, I used a random move generator for them. The lowest level uses it for most of the game. The higher levels stop using it earlier. At about level 4, the random move generator is never used past the first move.
In order to make Flipper play "somewhat" different each time, another random number generator is used. This one is used when two moves look nearly equal in value. This is why Flipper may not play the same game from one execution to another. Note that this choice is only made between "equal" moves and should not cause for a lesser move (as far as the computer is concerned) to be made. (Well, "equal" can have a rather wide band in some cases, but that also depends on the level and move type.)
