PSpringies 1.0
PSpringies is a spring and mass simulation, though you may wish to forget the physics and just play with it like a toy. more>>
You can easily build a world of nodes connected by springs and then watch what happens when you give a pull here and a nudge there.
The program is limited only by your imagination and the fact that this is a PDA which stores your phone numbers, not your desktop machine!
The program has a few built in patterns that you can watch fly around the screen, ricochet off walls, and drag around as you wish.
Using the graphical editor, however, you will probably want to design and play with your own patterns pretty quickly.
Experiment with the interface or read the included help file which is also available at http://www.medcosm.com/pspringies.html.
Mews 0.3
Mews standing for Mobile News is created as a wonderful usenet/NNTP client for Windows Mobile. more>>
Mews 0.3 standing for Mobile News is created as a wonderful usenet/NNTP client for Windows Mobile. Its intuitive user interface allows you to easily download and read articles from just about any public NNTP host.
Major Features:
- Offline reader: No internet connection is required while articles are read
- Articles can be downloaded over any type of internet connection (e.g. ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center, dial-up, GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, WiFi, etc.)
- User interface adheres to established standards
- Looks and feels mostly like a built-in application
- All colors are drawn from the currently active theme, so if your device is e.g. set to the Red Eye Tree Frog Theme, Mews will do its best to fit in
- Provides fast filtering based on the unread and/or watched states of the articles in a thread
- Fully supports attachments: Offers & opens any file type your device is capable of opening, including the ones that are handled through 3rd party programs like e.g. pdf
- Fully supports all character sets present on your device, so a e.g. UK English device can correctly display articles in almost any European language
- Fully supports devices with VGA resolution screen and square screens
- Works with multiple servers
- Allows to minimize possibly expensive traffic through header-only downloads. The user can then download only the interesting article bodies
Enhancements:
- New Features (since the previous release)
-
- Added fast filtering based on the unread and/or watched states of the articles in a thread (see the in-application manual for more information)
- The article dialog now has a menu item to start/stop watching the article and its follow-up articles
- Fixed Issues (since the previous release)
-
- No node is initially selected in the tree view of the Options dialog, which makes keyboard-only navigation impossible
- Refreshing the articles tree view is somewhat slow (mitigated by the new filtering feature, see above)
Delphi for Palm OS 2.01
Delphi is a free, accurate and intuitive astrology program. It lets you create, view, organize and beam birth charts and view synastry charts. more>>
Delphi lets you do this almost as intuitively as you are used to: Instead of focussing with your eyes only, you use the pen to focus too. Thus you search for the symbol of the moon, tap on it and immediately only aspects to the moon are shown, immediately it is indicated how strong those aspects are and the position of the moon is shown with more precision. Similarly, you can focus on aspects, signs or houses.
Otherwise Delphi behaves like a standard Palm application: You can organize charts in categories, sort them manually or alphabetically, and, if your Palm device has infrared beaming hardware, send or receive charts to/from others. This allows you to exchange charts with others quickly and in quite a natural, non-technical way.
Finally, Delphi lets you view synastry (relationship) charts; either between two birth charts or between a birth chart and the built-in
Delphi uses the astrolib library to calculate positions of sun, moon, planets up to Pluto and the true moon node with an accuracy of the order of one arc minute. Also through astrolib, you have access to UNIX time zone data for about 350 locations world-wide, plus about 2000 additional locations of which each one has been assigned to a one of the 350 UNIX time zone locations.
Medical Eponyms 1.7

Medical Eponyms 1.7 is an advanced program which satisfies you with a list and database of over 1,460 common and obscure medical eponyms (e.g. Rovsing's sign, Virchow's node). It is a stand alone program (previously it was a database that required JFile or a Doc reader). The program isn't compatible with Handera or TRG Pro devices.
Enhancements: Version 1.7 features unspecified improvements and bug fixes.

PicoMap 2.0 is a simple and salutary tool which allows students to create, share, and explore concept maps on their handheld computer.
This program allows users to create multiple nodes and relationships leading to elaborate concept maps for brainstorming, visual outlining or assessment purposes. PiCoMaps can also be beamed to other students and the teacher.
PiCoMap is available as part of the GoKnow! Mobile Learning Environment. The Mobile Learning Environment is designed to accomplish two educational goals: Engage the students (have fun), and keep them Organized (stay focused).

Medical Eponyms for the Palm 1.90 is more than a practical and powerful home education program. Here's a list of over 1,580 common and obscure medical eponyms (e.g., Rovsing's sign, Virchow's node) with descriptions.

Blue Chatroom 1.2
Chat via Bluetooth at public places. more>>
Blue Chatroom 1.2 is a handy application which enables you to chat with surrounding people via Bluetooth at public places. Have you ever needed to chat with strangers around you when you are shopping at a mall? It is now possible by Bluechat. To overcome limitations of short range of Bluetooth, Bluechat forms a network between Bluetooth nodes to route messages. Because of this routing protocol, even Bluetooth nodes that can not communicate directly are able to send and receive messages to each other. As a result, you will chat with not only people within the maximum range of Bluetooth but also with people that might be hundreds meters away.
It is your chance to have more BlueChat nodes around so that you can chat with more people far away from you. To simplify usage, on Bluechat there is one big chatroom that anyone can join. Since Bluechat is using Bluetooth sending a message has no cost.
