Palm OS Simulator 1.0
The Palm OS Simulator is the Palm OS 5.0 system compiled native for Intel. more>>
It is not hardware emulation like Palm OS Emulator, but rather the real OS running on top of the DAL.
The Palm OS core is made up of the various system DLLs you will see when you open up the Simulator folder on your PC.
Because the system is in the DLLs, the ROM file differs from a ROM file that would run on Palm OS Emulator.
It contains the Palm Application Compatibility Environment (PACE, which emulates your 68k PRCs) and the various default PRCs such as Datebook and Memopad.
The 68k environment provided in PACE is effectively identical to the functionality supported by Palm OS 4.1.

Lemmings 4.1
Lemmings offers a very addictive and fun game. more>>
Lemmings 4.1 offers a very addictive and fun game. Lemmings is the implementation of the classic game originally created by Psygnosis (in 1991) for the Palm Computing Platform. A Palm(tm) compatible handheld running Palm OS version 3.1 or better is required for the demo. lemming (lem-ing) adorable yet incredibly stupid furry creature; known for walking off cliffs, wandering aimlessly into dangerous situations and drowning by the thousands in pools of water. If you remember the game, you'll know exactly what is meant by the above! It even comes equipt with cool background music and heaps of cool animations you'll remember from the original game! Additional level packs (non original, yet still challenging) can be purchased seperately- more information can be found on the Lemmings level pack page on the website.

Benchmark 3.1
Measure your Palm Powered handhelds speed and bus bandwidth utilization more>> Benchmark 3.1 measures your Palm Powered handhelds speed and bus bandwidth utilization, and shows how your device measures up relative to other models -- and it does so quite accurately.
Benchmark 3.1 reports the speed of 68K apps as a blended timing of native code and PalmOS API calls. On a PalmOS 5 device with an ARM CPU, it measures the speed of apps running under the PACE emulation layer, combined with the speed of native ARM Palm OS calls. This provides an accurate benchmark for measuring the relative speed of 68K PalmOS apps on both original DragonBall 68K and new ARM PalmOS devices.
The barchart result for extremely fast devices is too large to fit on the Palm screen, and thus is truncated at the right hand edge.
NEW IN VERSION 3.1: Support for Palm OS Garnet (OS 5) and up. 3.1 works around a bug in Cingular Treo 650 devices.
(Note: Benchmark 3.1 is designed to test the speed of real Palm devices. The Palm OS Emulator/Simulator may report inaccurate timings due to inconsistencies in the way it keeps time.)
Benchmark 3.1 works on all Palm OS connected organizers. It was developed entirely on-board a Palm handheld using the Quartus Forth compiler. If youd like to be able to write apps right on your Palm device, have a look at Quartus Forth!<<less
SETIstat 1.0.0
SETIstat retrieves your SETI@home personal stats and display them on your Palm device. more>>
SETIstat requires a properly configured network connection on your Palm. When the Refresh button is pressed, it opens a HTTP connection to the server at Berkeley and retrieves the HTML page that contains your stats. This page is accessible at the SETI@home User Account Area. The page is then parsed and formatted to the fit your device display. In order to see the whole page, use the Up/Down hardware buttons to scroll through it. This page is just for displaying information, you can not follow any links. If the site administrators drastically change the page format, it is possible that SETIstat no longer recognizes its information, but this is unlikely to happen. If something goes wrong, an appropriate error message is displayed.
SETIstat supports both grayscale and color displays, and also QVGA (Handera) and Hires (Sony) high-resolution displays. PalmOS 3.5 or greater is required. It was tested on POSE and on the PalmOS Simulator.
SETIstat was developed as a test application for an experimental client-server information retrieval system based on HTTP.
