Performance Monitor is a program that precisely monitors the state of the system on a Pocket PC.

It displays in real time the amount of memory used by the running programs (Main Memory) and the amount of memory used by the installed programs (Program Memory).

It displays in graph format, updated every second, the processor activity of your Pocket PC, allowing you to check load peaks. It will also show a message when it considers (arbitrarily) that a program is consuming too much CPU power and will prompt you to close it. However, this window is often in the background.

Performance Monitor can also show the running threads on the Pocket PC but doesnt make the distinction between a thread in a program and the program in general.

Performance Monitor is also incapable of showing the priority level given to each thread, and is satisfied to give fragmented information on the execution time of the threads. This information is only displayed, it is impossible to interact with it, such as closing the threads.

Lastly, Performance Monitor can be minimised in the task bar of the Pocket PC (the bar at the bottom) and provides a condensed display that allows via colour coding, to continue to monitor the processor activity. As for the general display, the percentage of activity can not be set (it is just an assessment using the colour conventions and the height of the display bars).

Hardware Requirements:

CM11A Computer Interface manufactured by X10 Incorporated. The CM11A provides the communication interface between the PC (or Pocket PC) and targeted home automation modules (ie. Lamp modules, appliance modules, wall switch modules, receptacle modules etc.).
If connecting your PC server to the CM11A then just connect the serial cable, included with the CM11A, to the PC. If connecting the Pocket PC server to the CM11A then you will also need your devices serial cable with the 9 pin D shell connector on one end. Youll also have to use a DIN 9 null modem between the Pocket PCs and CM11As DIN 9 serial connections. If youre using a Serial Card adapter, the null modem may not be required however the comm port number would most likely be changed (refer to the Adapters manufacturer for the comm port number assignment).

Home Supervisor Operation:

With Home Supervisor NE, the PC or Pocket PC connected to the CM11A interface is the server and the remote device is the client. As a server you can program macros, manually control modules, view motion sensor activity and create your own module description list. As a client you can remotely control modules by sending requests to the server. The client can also start or stop macro programs residing in the server. Motion sensor/module input event logging is also available to the client.

Demo Software Summary:

Use our Demo Software of Home Supervisor NE to acquaint yourself with the manual and programmable interfaces. The demo software can also be used to test network connectivity between your client and server devices. All module output commands are simulated.

With WNC_IP can You Browse on your Windows IP Network for all Shared Disc and File Resources and connect them to your PPC.

At first Time You Start, WNC_IP creates a Folder named Network in the Root Filesystem of your Pocket PC. After this You must warm reset your PPC.

In this Folder makes your PPC the connections with the Remote Shares, Windows CE does not Support Drive Letters.

Next time You can see all your Windows IP Hosts that have some Folders ore Disks to Share, with the Host Name and IP Address.
To get connected to a listed Share simply doubleclick the corresponding Entry.

Then start your Favorite File Explorer and Browse into the Network Folder to work with your Remote connection.

Monitor is a simple application that allows you to profile your time.
It makes it possible to easily monitor how much time is spent for activites you are doing.
It can be used for monitoring some physical processes as well as your traditional housekeeping activities.

You are able to monitor up to 10 activities.
Pressing correspondent number at you phone starts or continues the specified activity.
Current activity is accumulating time until you stop monitor or switch to another activity, If you exit from midlet, activity is still considered to be active and when monitor midlet is restarted it will indicate time spent since the switch to this activity.

By pressing * button or executing New command it is possible to start new activity.
By pressing # button or executing Stop command monitor can be stopped.
If all activities do not fir in screen, you can scroll them using Up/Left/Top/Bottom cursor keys. To hide/show diagram press Fire button.
When monitor is stopped, additional command are available, allowing to reset or terminate monitor or show the help.
