NSB Lander 1.0

NSB Lander 1.0

NSB Lander is a Lunar Lander type game with one goal - land safely. more>>
NSB Lander is a "Lunar Lander" type game with one goal - land safely.
You have three places to land, with increasingly greater gravitational pull:
- Moon - 1/6 of the Earths gravity
- Earth - (its own gravity)
- Jupiter - 2.54 times the Earths gravity
To safely land, you need to land with a velocity less than 1 (an arbitrary number, no units given).
Anything greater, and you crash.
The Moon is fairly easy to land on, although its also easy to give yourself too much thrust and end up flying to the top of the screen.
The Earth is a littel more difficult, and Jupiter is nearly impossible until you get a feel for the controls.
You keep the remaining fuel after each landing (successful or not).
When youre out of fuel, you cant fly anymore.
System requirements:
- Palm IIIx
- Palm OS v3.1

MarsClock 2.4 build 0977

MarsClock 2.4 build 0977

MarsClock is an alarm clock for Mars time. more>>
MarsClock is an alarm clock for Mars time. It was created to aid the NASA MER and Phoenix robots. Many clocks exist for Mars, but none were portable nor had alarm capabilities at the time this was created.
MarsClock is a port of Mars24, created using OnBoardC. It runs on the PalmOS operating system (v 3.0 through 5.2) and requires MathLib. The error between MarsClock and the JPL MER time sheets is less than one minute for the nominal mission duration.
This software is free. You are free to view the source code, modify it, and/or use it elsewhere as per the GPL.
Main features:
- Customize background (GRS, MOLA, MDIM)
- One-tap access to: Viking 1, Viking 2, MER-A and MER-B, Phoenix, Sojourner, or Custom time/location
- Shows sub-solar point & lander location
