Pocket VirtuaGirl is a program that can be playful and fun. Located on the lower bar of the Pocket PC (2000, 2002, 2003), it displays a pretty girl shimmying at the bottom of your screen at set intervals and regardless of the program being run. You doubtless are familiar with the same sort of program for Windows PC.

The standard version is freeware, and the Pro version, commercial software, can be configured to display a figure for alerts. In the standard version you can customize the time between appearances, and can choose the lovely ladies who will then come and play peek-a-boo with you.

In addition, you also can control the zoom level to have models appear larger, turn the Pocket PC off from the configuration screen, or even launch a show in full-screen mode.

In the 80s, a company called Infocom released many high quality text adventure games. They wrote these games using an imagined z-machine computer, and then wrote interpreters for this z-machine for all the popular computers of the day.
ZipCE is an interpreter that lets you run games written in the Infocom format: the famous z-machine.
There isnt much to say about this port: we are in the presence of a very successful version.
You will need of course to find the games yourself, searching is aided by links supplied with the program.
Some free games will amuse you for a while, and because of the lack of graphics, the scenarios were particularly good.

This database allows you to keep track of your Optimod 8200 processor settings. If you are in charge of several FM stations, and with todays consolidation what engineer isnt, then this database is a must. Fields for processor name, date and preset name are supplied as well as fields for all preset settings. All processor settings are entered with pop up menus except for final clip drive. The number of settings for final clip drive exceeds the maximum number of pop up entries allowed by HanDBase, so that entry from -3.0 to +5.0 must be entered manually. As you modify settings, you can update an existing record or enter a new record with new date and preset name so you can keep track of previous settings if you need to return to them or reference them for any reason. This database was designed around a 5 band Optimod 8200 running version 3.0 software. If you use a 2-band model or have earlier software on your unit, you can modify the fields and pop up menus as needed. There are no provisions for initial system settings, only processor settings. System settings, once preformed, like input gain, balance, analog verses AES/EBU and pilot level do not need to be changed except for an occasional tweak and are not stored as presets.
