MaTreo for Palm 1.21
MaTreo, freeware frontscreen for your Treo and any other Palm based device more>>
MaTreo is a freeware frontscreen originally made for the palmOne Treo 180 and 270, which works on most PalmOS based devices: it displays an elegant aliased analog clock, a battery indicator level, current carrier and roaming (if any), signal strength, date and time. Additionally, you can customize the title string, call specific application - such as PhoneBook or Launcher - when tapping the screen or pressing the JogDial, and let MaTreo to turn on the light for a specific period of time.
The purpose of MaTreo is to act as the main app once your device is activated.
Title - when wireless info are available, MaTreo shows two lines at the top of the screen, the first with current carrier or current status (no service, wireless off, etc.), the second
with your connection provider when device is in roaming state. the title parameter is used on second line when theres no roaming status. If wireless info are not available - usually on non-Treo devices - there will be a single line with title parameter.
Switch to - the two options allow the user to switch to another PalmOS application on certain events, such as when tapping the whole screen, after n seconds of activity and when click the jog wheel button (if your device has got it). You can define different app to call with last event, so to have, for example, the PhoneBook app when you tap the screen and the Application app when press the jog wheel.
Show wireless infos - this is checked by default on Treo 180 and 270 models; generally, the option is available for all devices that support palmOne GSM Library, the middleware which handles devices radio part. if your device doesnt support it, or if theres another app or hack that may interfere, leave this option unchecked and use MaTreo as any other frontscreen.
Backlight on - check the option and define a range where MaTreo will automatically turn your device backlight on. The feature works when MaTreo activates itself; ideally, you associate MaTreo to an event such as open the Treo lid, so to have MaTreo running and the backlight activated.
MaTreo doesnt work with Treo 600.

- Handspring: Treo
- Palm OS 3.5

Delphi for Palm OS 2.01
Delphi is a free, accurate and intuitive astrology program. It lets you create, view, organize and beam birth charts and view synastry charts. more>>
Delphi tries to make most of the small screen that Palm devices have. And it tries to do it in a natural, intutive way: When you look at a chart printed on paper, you often focus your eyes onto different objects when needed. For example, you search for the symbol of the moon and then you look what sign it is in or what aspects it has. Similarly you may want to focus onto trines or want to know which signs are in the 12th house.
Delphi lets you do this almost as intuitively as you are used to: Instead of focussing with your eyes only, you use the pen to focus too. Thus you search for the symbol of the moon, tap on it and immediately only aspects to the moon are shown, immediately it is indicated how strong those aspects are and the position of the moon is shown with more precision. Similarly, you can focus on aspects, signs or houses.
Otherwise Delphi behaves like a standard Palm application: You can organize charts in categories, sort them manually or alphabetically, and, if your Palm device has infrared beaming hardware, send or receive charts to/from others. This allows you to exchange charts with others quickly and in quite a natural, non-technical way.
Finally, Delphi lets you view synastry (relationship) charts; either between two birth charts or between a birth chart and the built-in
Delphi uses the astrolib library to calculate positions of sun, moon, planets up to Pluto and the true moon node with an accuracy of the order of one arc minute. Also through astrolib, you have access to UNIX time zone data for about 350 locations world-wide, plus about 2000 additional locations of which each one has been assigned to a one of the 350 UNIX time zone locations.

Orders for HanDBase 1.0

Order entry applet using multiple groups of DB popups.
There are three files in this archive: orders.pdb, accounts.pdb, and products.pdb. All three are used for this applet. Heres how it works: Accounts.PDB - has accounts info- ie, your customers, their account number, their price rate, which is a discount rate that you could set for each customer. For example, a company might receive a 20% discount off the price, so this value would be 0.80. Products.pdb - information about each product you are selling, including product numbers, prices, description, etc. Orders.PDB - the main entry point once everything is set up. Open orders.PDB and add a record. You can choose the customer making the purchase by either writing in the value or, better yet, selecting the customer popup, where you will be taken to the Accounts database and you will be able to select one from the existing accounts. This will also bring over the account # of this customer. You can now fill out the quantities for up to 3 items (which was all I could fit in the 30 fields with all of the other stuff), and select the product by pressing the Item x Desc field and selecting the product from the Products database. The price will come over and be factored in along with the quantity, and the discount rate or price rate as it is in the accounts database is factored as well. At the bottom the tax is calculated, which I put in at 6%, which is Floridas rate, but you can easily modify this by adjusting the Tax field property, and a total is given. I hope this is a useful starting point for you. If you need more products to be purchased, you can either take away some of the other extraneous fields and try to squeeze one or two more in, or redesign the database as follows: Make each record be part of an order. You can use the new prev record calculated fields to keep a running sum. Then you can use the Filters to limit the view to the current customers current order only, and have a good subtotal!

TimeOff for HanDBase 1.0
TimeOff is a database to keep track of time off you have taken. more>>
TimeOff is a database to keep track of time off you have taken. It records the Date, Hours, Type of time off, Reason, Description, and Notes. It also has a section for recording if you took off time that you can make up, if you made it up, and when. For example, if you take off 2 hours for a personal reason, and your boss will let you make the time up. A filter is set up to identify those days.
This database has some Types and Reasons included in the pop-up list, to help you along. You are free to modify this as fits your situation. For example, if you get time off for Jury Duty, that could be the Type and Reason. You would not have to use up a Vacation day. If you stayed home during a snowstorm, and were required to take that as a vacation day, you could keep track of it here.

Keep track of your food items more>>
Keep track of your food items wherever theyre stored, remind yourself that certain items are reserved for recipes, keep track of what you need to bring in when you go out to the garage freezer, and prevent needless purchasing of items you already have.
Lots of Pop-Ups included, plus one sample entry. For bulk items, such as a partially-used 10 lb bag of flour, you can note that the amount recorded is approximate (apx). "Reserve" items that you need for recipes. For example, if you need that can of tomato soup for your spaghetti sauce recipe, "reserve" it so that you wont accidentally eat it for lunch first. If your recipe requires lots of items from the garage pantry, remind yourself of how many of each to "bring in". Then filter by "bring in" (value must NOT equal "no value"), so that only those items that you need will show up on your screen. Please write with comments or suggestions.

iTime for Pocket PC 1.0.0
Windows tray clock alternate between your local time and Internet Time. more>>
Internet Time. No Time Zones - No Geographical Borders - Just your desktop... Internet time is a standard created by Swatch. How long is a Swatch .beat? In short, we have divided up the virtual and real day into 1000 .beats. One Swatch beat is the equivalent of 1 minute 26.4 seconds. That means that 12 noon in the old time system is the equivalent of @500 Swatch .beats. Okay, so how can a surfer in New York, or a passenger on a transatlantic flight know when it is @500 Swatch .beats in Central Europe for example? How can the New York surfer make a date for a chat with his cyber friend in Rome? Easy, Internet Time is the same all over the world. How is this possible? We are not just creating a new way of measuring time, we are also creating a new meridian in Biel, Switzerland, home of Swatch. Biel MeanTime (BMT) is the universal reference for Internet Time. A day in Internet Time begins at midnight BMT (@000 Swatch .beats) (Central European Wintertime). The meridian is marked for all to see on the facade of the Swatch International Headquarters on Jakob-Staempfli Street, Biel, Switzerland. So, it is the same time all over the world, be it night or day, the era of time zones has disappeared. The BMT meridian was inaugurated on 23 October 1998 in the presence of Nicholas Negroponte, founder and director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology`s Media Laboratory. iTime is a simple Windows application which will make the Windows tray clock alternate between your local time and Internet Time.
