MaTreo is a freeware frontscreen originally made for the palmOne Treo 180 and 270, which works on most PalmOS based devices: it displays an elegant aliased analog clock, a battery indicator level, current carrier and roaming (if any), signal strength, date and time. Additionally, you can customize the title string, call specific application - such as PhoneBook or Launcher - when tapping the screen or pressing the JogDial, and let MaTreo to turn on the light for a specific period of time.
The purpose of MaTreo is to act as the main app once your device is activated.
Title - when wireless info are available, MaTreo shows two lines at the top of the screen, the first with current carrier or current status (no service, wireless off, etc.), the second
with your connection provider when device is in roaming state. the title parameter is used on second line when theres no roaming status. If wireless info are not available - usually on non-Treo devices - there will be a single line with title parameter.
Switch to - the two options allow the user to switch to another PalmOS application on certain events, such as when tapping the whole screen, after n seconds of activity and when click the jog wheel button (if your device has got it). You can define different app to call with last event, so to have, for example, the PhoneBook app when you tap the screen and the Application app when press the jog wheel.
Show wireless infos - this is checked by default on Treo 180 and 270 models; generally, the option is available for all devices that support palmOne GSM Library, the middleware which handles devices radio part. if your device doesnt support it, or if theres another app or hack that may interfere, leave this option unchecked and use MaTreo as any other frontscreen.
Backlight on - check the option and define a range where MaTreo will automatically turn your device backlight on. The feature works when MaTreo activates itself; ideally, you associate MaTreo to an event such as open the Treo lid, so to have MaTreo running and the backlight activated.
MaTreo doesnt work with Treo 600.

This program helps you keep track of gifts as ideas come to you. This applet should help for all those random times that you see someone would want something, such that you will still have that information once giftgiving time arrives. Helpful popups are in the Why and When for fields.

Assistant for waiter at restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.
It allows to replace sheet of paper and calculator with Palm handheld device, which significantly increases efficience.
It has following features:
- Managing menu of dishes arranged by category,
- Tracking all orders, its dishes and locations,
- Automatic calculating of costs for orders.
Further developments:
This program is a first try on the way to commercial "Waiter Assistant".

- Source code for a Desktop can be opened for a third-party developers.

Here is a simple database for tracking your Worked All States Award. No need to add new records, just edit the ones that are all ready there.
This is meant to be a starting point for simple WAS tracking. You will want to add your own fields for additional bands or modes. You may want to set up access to avoid adding new records since you will only need to edit the current records.

Keep track of frequently purchased items at your favorite grocery, drug and warehouse stores.

MightyMarket has been designed to help people who shop infrequently, while simplifying the job for experienced shoppers. It keeps track of often purchased items and their aisle locations within each store.

Three stores with aisles are pre-entered. Rename these fields to reflect your own store and aisle names. If you add additional stores, the field type is "Pop-Up," and the items aisle locations are entered using "Edit Popups." Begin shopping by first doing a forward sort by "Item," then check off your items. Next, enter shopping dates and aisle locations within each store. If your item isnt on the list, create a new record. Enter any coupons you may have for the items youve checked off. NOTE:Some aisle fields are already filled in to demonstrate how MightyMarket works. Use "Edit Popups" to customize. Create the shopping filter for the first store you are going to visit by setting Filter 1 to "Buy must be checked," and Filter 2 to "AND Aisle Store 1 value not NO VALUE." If you have not yet filled in aisles for all your items at this store, disable Filter 2. If you have, then sort the list by aisle for the first store that youre going to visit.

Tip: Hiding the other store names in list and record views makes scrolling easier. If you uncheck the "Buy" checkbox when you pick up each item, the item will disappear from your list. If you wish to see the full list again, set Filter 1 for the shopping date. Set a shopping date filter by choosing the "Date" field, and setting its upper and lower limits to the shopping date. MightyMarket will double check the stores cash register tape if youd like. Enter the quantity and price per quantity of each item as you shop, and a running total is maintained. For example, if you purchased one green pepper @ $1.79/lb., and it weighed .47 lb., enter .47 in the Qty field and $1.79 in the Price field. MightyMarket will do the math. If you entered coupons, they will be deducted from the total. Dont forget to allow for taxes when checking against the cash register tape. MightyMarket doesnt compute taxes because in our state some grocery items are taxable but most are not.

NOTE: To speed things up, its recommended that Auto Recalc be turned off. Be sure to recalculate manually before checking the cash register tape.
