Fit2Go 0.7.1
Fit2Go provides you with a free linear and quadratic function graphing tool and curve fitter which supports exploration and modeling activities. more>> Fit2Go 0.7.1 provides you with a free linear and quadratic function graphing tool and curve fitter which supports exploration and modeling activities. It supports data collection by proposing a model that can appropriately describe the users data. The tool highlights the numeric aspects of a phenomenon. Together, Sketch2Go and Fit2Go provide a comprehensive view of models and modeling.
Fit2Go is suited for building a conceptual understanding of mathematical facts that are usually known only as "rules of thumb." Everyone knows that two points define a line. Fewer would know that three points define a parabola. High school students can prove it either in their algebra course by solving a system of equations or in their analytic geometry studies by implementing the geometric properties of the parabola. Fit2Go provides a wide repertoire of choices that fit given sets or subsets of data, and elicits questions and conjectures that can lead to formal solutions and proofs.
Major Features:
- Students can view a phenomenon, identify variables, conduct experiments, and take measurements in order to construct models of the phenomena.
- Fit2Go offers linear or quadratic models by presenting graphs and expressions of functions that can fit the data.
- Fit2Go provides an easy visual way of enter the data by dynamically viewing the point and reading its values.
- After choosing the type of model (an important decision that should be made by the user rather than automatically interpreted by the tool), Fit2Go presents a specific line (if only two data points are marked) or a specific quadratic function (if three points are marked).
- Interesting cases occur when too many or too few points are marked. Fit2Go does not attempt to fit a model to all points by interpolation. Rather, it randomly plots optional curves that fit a subset of the marked points and allows the user to alternate between the random options.
- If there are too few constrains, Fit2Go graphs a family of graphs, which it alternates according to the user requests.

SETIstat 1.0.0
SETIstat retrieves your SETI@home personal stats and display them on your Palm device. more>>
SETIstat requires a properly configured network connection on your Palm. When the Refresh button is pressed, it opens a HTTP connection to the server at Berkeley and retrieves the HTML page that contains your stats. This page is accessible at the SETI@home User Account Area. The page is then parsed and formatted to the fit your device display. In order to see the whole page, use the Up/Down hardware buttons to scroll through it. This page is just for displaying information, you can not follow any links. If the site administrators drastically change the page format, it is possible that SETIstat no longer recognizes its information, but this is unlikely to happen. If something goes wrong, an appropriate error message is displayed.
SETIstat supports both grayscale and color displays, and also QVGA (Handera) and Hires (Sony) high-resolution displays. PalmOS 3.5 or greater is required. It was tested on POSE and on the PalmOS Simulator.
SETIstat was developed as a test application for an experimental client-server information retrieval system based on HTTP.
SciCalc by Jenkins 1.3
SciCalc by Jenkins features decimal, binary and hexadecimal display (with unique scrolling display for binary output), common mathematical formulae and engineering conversion routines as well as all c more>>
The conversions and formulae can be found in the integrated menu.
The main purpose of this program was to make a scientific calculator for the Palm PDA which could fit onto a single screen but be clear and easy enough for anybody who has used a standard scientific calculator in the past to use.
Added to this is the (optional) function to enter digits (in decimal, binary or hexadecimal) including the - sign to change polarity and the . decimal point using the PalmOS built-in "Graffiti" functions.
The ZIP version also includes the required MathLib library which is required to run this program.
This program is 100% compatible with non-colour Palm PDAs and has been fully tested on PalmIIIxe, PalmIIIc and PalmVx!
fMSX Series 60 3rd Edition 1.16d
MSX emulator for Series 60. With this emulator you can play hundreds of games available on the Internet for the MSX platform. more>>
Emulation core is originally based on an adapted version of the fMSX/Unix version 2.7 source code. Although recent versions of the emulation core still resemble the fMSX/Unix logically almost no part of the original fMSX/Unix code is left in fMSX/S60.
I have decided to keep the emulator name as fMSX still to honour the roots of the emulation code and the efforts of the fMSX/Unix author. Critical sections in fMSX/S60 have been written directly in ARM assembly language to gain speed.
Main features:
- Emulates MSX1, MSX2 and MSX2+ machines.
- AY8910 (PSG), SCC, SCC+ and YM2413 (OPLL, MSX-Music) sound chips emulated.
- Supports ROM cartridge (.rom), disk (.dsk) and tape (.cas) images in uncompressed, gzip compressed (.gz), zip compressed (.zip) and lharc compressed (.lzh) format (zip and lzh format support is in the "b" and "d" variants only). Compressed disk and tape images are treated as read-only media in the emulator (any saved data on compressed media will be lost when the emulator exits).
- Four supported display rendering modes with 90 degrees rotation possibility (cw/ccw):
- raw unzoomed (only a part of the MSX display is visible in 176x208 display)
- fast fit (every nth pixel is discarded in 176x208 display or doubled in bigger displays)
- smart fit (same as fast but with a lone-pixel-detection, only available in 176x208 display)
- resample fit (calculates the average of neighbouring pixels for each rendered pixel, only available in 176x208 display).
- Fully user configurable keyboard and joystick mappings.
- Emulation can be paused and the machine state can be saved and loaded.
System requirements:
- Series 60 3rd Edition phones.
- 176x208, 240x320, 320x240, 352x416 or 416x352 resolution display.
- 12bit color depth (4,096 colors) or 16bit color depth (65,536 colors) or 24/32bit color depth (16,777,216 colors).
- 16kHz 16bit PCM audio streaming capability for sound emulation. The sound emulation can be disabled if the device does not support this audio format.

Store List for HanDBase 1.0
This is a basic To Do list of items to buy while at the store. more>>
This Applet has a checkbox for indicating that you got the item. It also goes so far as to have a quantity and the price per item/qty and the Total for that Item as well as a Running Total.
The Checkbox, Item description, Qty, Price Each, and Running Total fields fit onto one screen in the List view so NO SCROLLING REQUIRED! The quantity field has popups for things like pound, 1 gallon, 1 dozen. The calculations work for the most part unless you get to 1.65 pounds of meat. Then just leave off the pounds part and you can double check the store.
I find it useful to enter the price and have the total because a LOT of stores have incorrect prices and some even give you the item Free if it rings up wrong. This way you know for sure especially with dozens of items.
When you are done shopping if you didnt get some things, filter the items that are checked and then delete outside the filter range and you are ready for next time.
Currently Sorted so checked items move to the bottom of the list. This way the running total works correctly.
After this Applet is installed it will be found in the Unfiled category.
