With the newer versions of WM5 the on-idle password protection even activates when you have your device cradled in its carkit. Sometimes this is very inconvenient, for example when you are using your device for car-navigation or using it as a phone in your car. This CAB-installer allows you to disable this behaviour when your PocketPC is cradled.

Note : you do NOT need this utility if your Pocket PC is not a WM5 model with AKU2.

The passwordlocking of the screen when using external power was introduced in the AKU2 update for Windows Mobile 5. All devices running an older operating system do not have this problem.

The timer will display in the system tray, ,,,,. If the icon is pressed within the 5 seconds, the icon is redisplayed and the countdown is canceled. If nothing is pressed, power will be shut off. If the counting down icon is double tapped it will redisplay the dialog from whick Power Countdown can be exited.
