Palm Tungsten T Update has come as a handy and essential software patch which is particularly useful for the Palm Tungsten T handheld. It resolves several issues. This patch is intended for the Palm Tungsten T and is not meant for use with any other handhelds. This patch incorporates and replaces the following previously released patches for Palm Tungsten T: PalmDigitizerUpdate.prc and PalmAudioUpdate.prc.
Major Features:
- Digitizer issues affecting the top 5mm of the Tungsten T display not responding correctly or at all. This is typically detected when using pull down menus or applications that utilize this part of the display.
- Audio playback issues, associated with playing audio files (such as MP3 or WAV), which affect sound output quality. Enhancements to the Palm Sound Manager included with this update also enable the playback of audio files in the background with some applications.
- Issues connecting to the Internet or email via a Bluetooth dongle attached to a PC.
- Launcher issues when attempting to access the App menu. The error message "LauncherMain.c, Line:9128, could not complete the operation because the system is out of dynamic memory" is reported on devices with more than 345 files in system memory.

If you tap and hold each icon across the bottom of the forms a tip will appear on the top of the form indicating the action when tapped. Help files are available by pressing on the information icon (i) at the top right of each form.
You can filter your records by a user assigned category located at the top of the record form, and you can also filter the records by these categories, which are also user editable. You can export your records to a doc file to transfer to your pc (using adequate 3rd party programs, i.e. "doc" readers).

Handspring Updater V1.0.0 installs a software update to the Palm OS that ships with all Visor Solo, Visor and Visor Deluxe handhelds. This application installs an update that provides the following:
- Calculator Launch Fix - This fix prevents unexpected launches of the Calculator when touching the Visor screen close to the Calculator launcher icon.
- Serial Modem Fix- This fix corrects an issue where a Visor may have difficulty performing a HotSync operation using a serial cradle when a modem Springboard module is installed.
- 8MB DRAM Memory Fix (if necessary)This fix corrects an issue where a limited number of Visor Deluxe handhelds manufactured between January and May, 2000 can experience a "fatal error" as a result of a faulty DRAM memory chip. This fix is only installed on affected Visor Deluxe handhelds; the version info window will now display "Palm OS Software v3.1H3M". Depending on individual usage patterns there may be an impact on battery life.
