Audio Driver 1.2 brings you the ultimate solution for providing environment that allows Palm to play WAVE Sound. Reference manual of the Audio Driver APIs has been opened to the public, and hope the Audio Driver could be a standard for sound solution on Palm Computing platform. Are preparing some documents for higher functional APIs, that should be released soon.

Programing samples, that are originally provided by Palm Computing, are contained in the package to show how easily the Audio Driver can be used in applications. Those source codes will be provided by us in a few weeks.

Audio Driver version 0.6.x was intended only for evaluation. Some of APIs described in the document would be changed without any notice. This copy of the Audio Driver will be available until Jun 15th 2001.

FREEWARE - BtServer uses Palms Bluetooth virtual serial driver to communicate with other Bluetooth devices that support the Serial Port Profile.
It opens the Bluetooth virtual serial driver in server mode. This creates an RFCOMM listening socket and an SDP entry that advertises the Serial Port Profile.
Client devices that support the Serial Port Profile can then discover and connect to the Palm handheld.
The application works on Palm OS v4.0, v4.1 as well as OS v5.0 handhelds, assuming the necessary Bluetooth libraries have been loaded. BtSerial (on this web site) is a good Palm client to use to connect to BtServer.
With BtSerial on one Palm handheld and BtServer on another, you essentially have a very simple "chat" application.
