SF Cave is proof you dont need manuals as thick as a Tom Clancy novel, or controls that need four sides of A4 paper to get moving. With one key (thrust), SF Cave will take you into the Danger Zone of addictive gaming. Originally written by SunFlat (hence the SF), this Symbian OS conversion by Ewan Spence and FreEPOC shows you dont need fancy graphics and depth - you just need a good idea.

SF Cave is a simple game at heart. Dont crash into anything. The floor of the cave, the roof of the cave, or the mysterious hovering monoliths. But bound up in this idea is a series of heart stopping balancing to get through a tiny gap, or large soaring arcs as the floor of the cave drops away from you and you pray that gravity will pull you down faster than the roof is approaching you. Youll need a steady hand and nerves of steel to get onto the internet High Score table.

You are controlling a small prehistoric cave cab and it is your duty to safely navigate your passengers through treacherous obstacles and transport them to the desired destinations. The player must use the propellar on top of the cab to land and take off safely from the different platforms. If you collide with the rocks or land too fast, your cave cab crashes and it will end up as a pile of junk.
Each level gets more difficult with longer and narrower caverns to maneuver through. Points are awarded according to the difficulty at the end of each completed level.

GravCave is the Pocket PC port of SFCave.

It’s a game that consists of guiding your vessel (a little imagination is called for here!) through the ever-narrower meanderings of a cave.

Your enemy is gravity, which inexorably pulls you towards the cave walls, thereby turning your voyage into a perpetual sequence of down-trending and then up-trending parabolas.

The degree of difficulty (narrowness of the cave) and the game duration are adjustable, depending on how long the line that you’re standing in stretches out in front of you.

Owatamla made long ago a prophecy that the tribe of the Apache would suffer misery and some of the brothers and sisters would lose their lives. The gloomy ancient prophecy of the medicine-man has been fulfilled and the hatchet against the palefaces has been dug up! You, brave Apache warrior, have been trusted with the task to get help to defeat the palefaces and its alleys. Find your way through the hot and now dangerous prairie and use your fists, feet and rifle to defend yourself against the villains who lie in wait for you. Collect the hearts and gold nuggets youll find on your way and send as much of the villains as possible to the happy hunting grounds but be aware of not being ambushed!
Instructions / Controls:
Apache Warrior puts you in the shoes of chieftain Papewas. You have to defend yourself against hordes of foul villains with your feet, fists and rifle. The left bar indicates your current health status which can be increased by collecting hearts, the right bar the health points of your current opponent. After having collected 10 gold ingots the number of your lifes increases by one. If you beat an armed enemy you can take his rifle and the ammo to keep other opponents at a distance.
After all the nasty bastards of one level section have gone to the happy hunting grounds youll get right to the next section. Go through the doors which youll find on your way to get to secret places with loads of useful goodies. Certainly worth a detour! The more you drag yourself through the dusty and deserted prairie the more difficult and numerous the villains and obstacles get.
