Single Button Launcher 0.2
Single Button Launcher is a PalmOS application that can launch up to 5 different applications using only a single hardware button. more>>
To use, go to Buttons in Preferences and assign SBL to one of the application buttons, for example, the Memopad button. Press this button. When the SBL screen appears, assign Memopad to the first button, then any other applications of your choice to the remaining buttons.
Now if the Memopad button is pressed in the normal way, SBL will immediately start Memopad. Other applications can be started by holding the button down; simple as that. I told you it only used a single button. Unassigned slots are ignored and skipped.
SBLs overriding design principle is speed; for this reason it does not read the application icons, and does not verify the existence of the applications it is launching until actual launch time. If an application turns out not to exist when launch is attempted, SBL returns to configuration mode. It has no built-in help, "About" screen, or menu options. This ensures that it starts and gets out of the way as quickly as possible, and should not crash when applications are no longer available (unlike some launchers we could mention). It also uses only 6K of memory.

- PalmPilot 1000
- Palm OS v3.0

Delta Minaret 3
It acts like a mosque in your pocket. Wherever you go, Salah times are a simp more>> Delta Minaret Details
Delta Minaret performs 4 main functions
1- Salah times Calculation Delta Minaret user can choose from a database of nearly 500 locations. If he can??t find the location he wants, he can add his own location to the database. Delta Minaret will then calculate the Salah times for that chosen location. The default location used is the home city in the system??s settings. There is a partial Adhan file and Salah reminders to remind the user of his daily Salah. Minaret can also generate outlook reminders for any of the five Salah for any period of time day, week or month. The user will also be able to choose the method for calculating Asr time following either the Hanafi School or the Shafi School
Hanafi School:
Asr time is when length of shadow = 2 * length of object + noon shadow
Shafi School:
Asr time is when length of shadow = length of object + noon shadow
The application also allows the user to choose the twilight angles for Fajr/Isha calculation. Fajr starts with the morning twilight (dawn) while Isha starts at the end of the evening twilight (dusk). There has been a debate on which twilight angle values should be used to calculate Fajr and Isha times taking into consideration that smaller twilight angles produce later Fajr and earlier Isha. Delta Minaret allows the user to choose among the five conventions currently used by Islamic organizations in various countries and offers the flexibility for the user to add his own angles.
2- Gregorian / Hijri Conversion Delta Minaret also attempts to calculate the Hijri Date corresponding to a given Gregorian date and vice versa. However, since calculations are not based on actual moon sighting, there may be a +/-1 day discrepancy. In addition, Delta Minaret User doesn??t have to worry about daylight saving adjustment since it is taken into consideration when calculating Salah times. It also saves the user settings so that he doesn??t have to repeat them over and ove<<less
Palm Tungsten T Update
The PalmTungstenTUpdate.prc is a software patch for the Palm Tungsten T handheld. It resolves the following issues: Digitizer issues affecting the top 5mm of the Tungsten T display not responding more>>
Palm Tungsten T Update has come as a handy and essential software patch which is particularly useful for the Palm Tungsten T handheld. It resolves several issues. Gmail Loader 0.5
If youve ever wanted to sync your local e-mail with your Gmail account, this program works by reading your existing mail files, and forwarding them to Gmail more>>
Gmail Loader 0.5 is developed as an effective tool with which you can easily sync your local e-mail with your Gmail account. This program works by reading your existing mail files, and forwarding them to Gmail. It does not delete the mail from your local computer. Email can be set to arrive at GMail in either your 'Inbox' or 'Sent Mail'.
Notes: The default SMTP server does not work. Please look up the current SMTP server with DNS Stuff (a DNS lookup service) and use one of the server names returned there as the SMTP server.
If you are attempting to import your mail into your Gmail for Domains account, you need to look up the MX servers for your domain. There is an option on the right hand side of DNS Stuff to perform this task. Enter your domain name, slect MX, and then click "Lookup". The destination address in GML should then be your gmail for domains address and not an @gmail or @googlemail address.
Yame 0.38g
Yame emulates on the Pocket PC the Gameboy, Gameboy Color, PC Engine, NES and even SNES. more>>
Lets start with what it doesnt do: SNES emulation is not complete, dont attempt to play Mario Kart on your Pocket PC with this emulator.
Yame is a bit old and retains the menu bar at the top of the screen, as with Windows CE 2.11. This doesnt stop it from being one of the best emulators, notably with the older machines. It is, for example, the best NES emulator for the MIPS platform.
At the first startup, the program is in Japanese, but you only have to click on the S of Settings from Menu to get to Language which gives access to English, phew!
The options are extremely complete, as well as with audio and video, and the button can be redefined. Nothing is missing, it is perfect.
Although little known, without a doubt due to its Japanese origin and the absence of a supporting website, Yame is an excellent emulator. It is far from being equal to the (commercial) MorphGear, but according to the ROM that you have, it will prove to be handy.
Aviation Flashcards 1.0
Learn for the FAA test for Private Pilot more>>
The databases are:
Aviation Airspace - 50 cards covering airspace regulations.
Aviation Info 1 - 50 cards covering a range of topics, including airspeeds, compass errors, transponder codes, and light gun signals.
Aviation Info 2 - 50 cards covering a range of topics, including altitudes, altimeters, and right-of-way rules.
Feel free to modify and share the databases. Substitute Va, Vy, etc. with the appropriate airspeeds of the aircraft you fly. This is not a comprehensive review. Limited time and space forced the author to omit many important topics and many important details. The author is sure errors and inaccuracies remain despite his attempts to get the information correct. When in doubt, check the current FARs and other references before you decide an answer in this set is correct.
To view this database on your device you need the SuperMemo application (see the link in Requirements above). It will allow you to learn the cards up to 10-50 times faster and ensure that you never forget them again.

.NET Compact Framework 2.0 SP2 Redistributable
The Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 Redistributable includes everything you need to run .NET Compact Framework 1.0 and 2.0 applications. more>>
Important: This redistributable enables running .NET Compact Framework applications on the Pocket PC, Pocket PC Phone Edition, Smartphone, and other Windows CE powered devices. To develop .NET Compact Framework applications, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SDK are required.
This package uses ActiveSync 4.0 and up to update the device, see the Windows Mobile Center for more information. Be sure to dock your device first before running NETCFSetupv2.msi. If your device is not docked, ActiveSync will store the CAB file until the time when you dock your device. Those not using ActiveSync can run the CAB files which match the device found in the install folder directly on the device.
Enhancements:
- New Features:
- Service Pack 2 of the .Net Compact Framework V2.0 includes some new features in the Remote Performance Monitor aimed at finding memory leaks in the managed heap. These features allow you to take snapshots of the GC heap at any point in time and view the relationships between the live object instances in the heap. You can also compare multiple snapshots over time in order to spot allocation trends in your application as it executes.

Docs2HR for HanDBase 1.0
A simple database to track forms submitted for various reasons within an organization. more>>
The typical filters I use are date spans which change as I need them to, YEAR, MONTH, WEEK......and then FORM TYPE. Given the fields of the database, it is simple to filter whatever best suits what youre attempting to organize, customize the filters as you see fit, I left the ones I use for the most part intact in this.
Ill never manage without it. I left the Pop Up fields occupied so you could get the drift of how I used it. The first and last name are typically the relevent individual who filled out the form, or the Supervisor / Manager submitting the form, that makes finding the evidence I need much easier. Feel free to adapt the database design for your own uses, youll come to depend upon it if forms are common in your line of work.
System requirements:
- HanDBase v.3.0x or greater
Caltrain+ Caltrain Schedule 3.9.3
The Caltrain Schedule for PalmOS more>>
- Schedules for weekday, non-weekend holiday, and weekend service.
- Tapping on a train number brings up fare, zone, and travel time, and distance information (a subsequent Copy command will copy this text to the clipboard).
- Tapping on departure or arrival column brings up station information (a subsequent Copy command will copy this text to the clipboard). It also allows alarms to be set or cleared.
- Tapping on direction highlight toggles direction (saves one tap).
- Highlighting (color or bold) alternating fare zones in station list popups.
- A Preference Form, to enable or disable the following capabilities:
o Displaying todays schedule automatically (including Holidays) at startup
o AM/PM or 24-hour time format
o Ability to keep station popups centered on last choice (PalmOS 4.0 or greater only)
o Default minutes before triggering an alarm (see below for a more complete description of alarms)
- An Alarms Form, to show which alarms are currently set. Alarms are described in detail below.
- Pannable Color higher-resolution System Route Map (requires PalmOS 3.5 or greater)
- A Menu Item for switching to the BART Quick Planner (if it is installed).
- Support for 5-way navigator button (found on certain PalmOne models).
Alarm Information
Starting with Version 3.4, Caltrain+ has the ability to trigger alarms a specified number of minutes before a train departs or arrives. This is a complex feature that bears further explanation (though the goal is to make usage as intuitive as possible). Here are the details:
- Alarms are recurring (e.g. for commuters who ride the train on a regular basis). For non-recurring alarms there is already the Datebook, and this should be used.
- To set an alarm, start by tapping a time in either the departure or arrival column of a particular train. This brings up the detail popup window, which contains the alarm set/clear button. The button label toggles depending on whether the alarm is set or cleared.
- Next select the number of minutes before the train arrives/departs that you wish to be notified, using the popup to the right of the alarm set/clear button. Currently 5-60 minutes in increments of 5 minutes is supported. The default number of minutes may be specified in the preferences panel.
- Once an alarm is set, the popup is locked and displays the number of minutes selected as the advance notification interval. Clearing the alarm will unlock the popup.
- An alarm will be triggered the specified number of minutes before every train matching the schedule class. I.e., if an alarm is set for a M-F train, it will be triggered every weekday until cleared.
- There is logic for detecting holidays, and an alarm that would otherwise trigger will be skipped on a holiday (e.g. a M-F alarm will not trigger on Labor Day). The holidays recognized are limited to Xmas, Presidentss Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
- A train for which an alarm is set is highlighted in red/bold in the display.
- A maximum of 4 alarms may be set concurrently.
- The Alarms Form can be used to 1) see which alarms are set; 2) cancel individual alarms; 3) cancel all alarms.
- This feature works best with the Attention Manager (PalmOS 4.0 or greater). Earlier versions of Palm will work but the notification menu is crude and there is no snoozing or nagging.
- You can only set alarms for a holiday on the day of the holiday, and those alarms will be one-shots (non-repeating). Otherwise there are no restrictions (e.g. you can set a M-F alarm on a Saturday.
Troubleshooting & Known Problems
- "Blank display" (Grid shown but no text): this has been reported on the Treo 600 and 650 models. The cause has not been isolated: it seems to affect only a small number of units, and seems related to firmware (upgrading to a new firmware version has been known to both cause and solve this problem. No known workaround
- Resets after installing Caltrain Application. This is occasionally seen on all models, though again the Treos seem the most susceptible. Here are several things to try (ordered in increasing order of severity) that have been known to work on occasion:
1. explicitly delete Caltrain app from your handheld, and try to re-install
2. extract .prc file from the .zip archive instead of downloading directly (some browsers known to have a hard time handling .prc binaries)
3. Clean out your Hotsync directories. This from a user: "I found the last two versions of the Caltrain application that I was trying to update inside the "Install" folder which was inside my User Folder. For some reason, that application remained in that folder even after I deleted it from the handheld and from the Quick Install application. After I deleted the .prc files from the "Install" folder and rebooted the machine, everything worked normally. I used the Quick Install application and successfully installed the new program that I originally wanted to install"
4. Search your system and delete all instances of the Caltrain .prc files. Then delete Caltrain app from your handheld. Finally download a fresh .zip, extract the .prc, and try to install that.
5. Try using the free dbScan utility on your handheld.
6. Try (soft) resetting your handheld before attempting steps 1-5.
Enhancements:
- Updated to reflect the April 2, 2007 schedule and fares.
- New Features:
- "T" mode for displaying Redwood City Transfers. You select this by toggling the "T", "L", "A" popup thats immediately below the "Caltrain Schedule" header in the upper left hand corner of the main display. In "T" mode, routes requiring a RWC transfer will be displayed in bold green in the Train column. Tapping on Train or Origin columns will give the number of the train you are to transfer to; tapping on the Destination column will give information for the transfer train, including departure time.
- Trains form for displaying all the stops for a train rather than the converse. You can enter this form by either 1) tapping the Trains View button shown in the Schedule Detail form; or 2) selecting Trains in the Commands menu. If you navigate via the Trains View button the schedule for the corresponding will be shown. While in the Trains View, the 5-way navigator will behave the same way as in the main view.
- New abbreviated Help form.
- Bugfixes:
- Corrected a problem where alarms would cause the wrong train (or no train at all) to be bolded.
