Red Feline Tidy is a utility program for Palm OS that scans your databases for duplicate records. When it finds two records that are absolutley identical it will automatically delete one of these records.

This program is particularly useful if your handheld computer gets out of sync with your desktop and ends up creating identical copies of every entry in your address book. In fact RFTidy was written after one especially dramatic occasion when almost every one of two hundred or so addresses I have was duplicated nine times!

WARNING: This program is writen for the Palm OS 5 or earlier. Due to the changes in the PIM databases in Cobalt (Palm OS 6) this program is unlikely to work correctly on these devices.

HiP Keys is a utility to edit and create keyboard shortcuts.
For example using HiP you could set the Windows Logo Key + the "W" key to launch Pocket Word. Similarly + could launch Excel.
HiP also supports the editing of the hardware hotkeys on the HP660LX, HP630LX, and HP Jornada 720 - above the keyboard, to the right of the screen, and on the front of the case (720 only).

With the m100 series, Palm introduced the Note Pad application, taking the place of the Memo Pad on the fourth hard key.
Some of us preferred the old Memo Pad and tried to assign it to the Note Pad hard key by using the Buttons Preference Panel.
Unfortunately, no matter what you set the fourth hard key to, Palm OS would always reassign it to Note Pad when your device reset!
Note Pad Key Patch simply reassigns the fourth hard key back to what you specified with the Buttons Preference Panel.
Finally, you can easily use Memo Pad on your m100!

TZones is a simple but elegant world clock application for PalmOS.
TZones is free software licenced under the GNU General Public Licence.
TZones is very intuitive to use and configure but just in case you have problems try the following steps.
Install and run the application.
The first time the application runs it will display its Preferences dialog, use the Local Time: option to select a city in your time zone and check or uncheck the Daylight Saving checkbox as appropriate.
Press OK to leave the preferences dialog.
You can change which four cities to display the time in by selecting Time Zones... from the Options menu.
Finally if you are getting confused to read the tips (click on the icon
in the top right hand corner of some windows).

Enhancements:

Malcolm Bryant and FreEPOC bring you a self-contained way to develop and maintain Java programs without requiring the Symbian Java SDK, or even a Windows PC. Realistically, you wont want to write large Java programs without using a keyboard. But for compiling simple Java programs from scratch, or for editing/debugging larger Java programs "on the go", our Java compiler contains everything you need.

Included in the distribution package:

* Redirect (Symbian Ltd) to enable the standard Java output stream
* jText (FreEPOC) to write and edit java source code
* jCompile (FreEPOC) the Java compiler for the P800
* jRun (FreEPOC) a Java wrapper to make Java class files available in the P800 Application list

* Two simple examples of Java source code which can be compiled and run

Note: this Java compiler is intended for experienced users only. The compiler works for Personal Java only - it will not work for other Java variants such as Java MIDP. We have no plans to produce other Java compilers. While we have made every effort to ensure everything works correctly, you use the software at your own risk. We will provide support for the compiler itself but unfortunately, we do not have time to answer general Java programming queries.
