aDialCode - tells you how to dial to a city from another city
Before you start
aDialCode is a J2ME (Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition) compatible software. It runs on most mobile phone, Palm, and pocket PC devices which have the Java and the Internet access capabilities. If you want to install aDialCode on your mobile phone, please make sure that the GPRS service is also enabled for your phone. if aDialCode is installed on PDA devices, it also need the ability to connect the PDA with the Internet via WiFi, modem, or mobile phone.
Start aDialCode
In the first time, aDialCode will ask you to specify the "From" city (the city where you are calling from) and "To" city (the city where you are going to call to). Please read the Choose a City section below for how to specify a city. After you specified the cities, you can then execute the [Codes] function to get the dialing codes from aDialCode server. To connect with the Internet, the mobile phone will show the following question form to confirm this connection. Please select one of the "Allow for ever", "Allow for session", or "Allow for this query" options to enable the connection.
After the connection, aDialCode gets the dialing codes from the server, and shows the results.
Choose a City
The intelligent quick-find technology enables you to pick a city from the built-in 1116 cities list easily and quickly. You only need to input the city name prefix, aDialCode will then list the top 5 matched cities for you to choose. You can then press the [Done] button to choose the first city, or use the [Up], [Down] navigation keys to select another cities and press the [Center] key to confirm the selection.
Menu commands
More menu commands will be explained below.
Codes - Gets the dialing code from aDialCode server according to current "From" and "To" cities settings.
From City - Specifies the city where you are calling from.
To City - Specifies the city where you are going to call to
Swap From/To - Exchanges the "From" and "To" cities.

An amusing freeware that will let you personalize every one of your screens, without exception, by modifying the color of the components you want (title bar, menu backgrounds, etc...), like the Appearance tab of Windows Display Properties.

Also there are schemes available. In short, everything you need to see life through ... rose-tinted lenses. Since it all takes place in the Registry, you need to do a Reset to see your changes.

The ergonomics of the program are average, but this software is already fully utilizable. You can enter your parameters either by RGB values or by means of a superb rainbow (the screenshot you see alongside doesnt do it justice since its in 256 colors). Watch out, though: a few bugs still get in the way.

In the golden age of the first family consoles, ColecoVision was a great commercial success. It represent a great step forward compared to the Atari VCS 2600 when it came to graphics and sound. Whats more they had the great idea of shipping with Donkey Kong negotiated with Nintendo.
It needs to be said that it provides a good old Z80A at 3.58MHz, 8 kilobytes of RAM and a true OS (with the Atari you had to tackle hardware directly...) A video processor managing 16 kilobytes of RAM to complete the package.
To emulate all this on an actual Pocket PC doesnt pose any insurmountable technical problem, I recall that the resolution of the ColecoVision was 256x192 pixels. Its all done by this excellent program that I recommend to anyone with a nostalgia of this machine, as the ROMs are extremely easy to find.
Notes:
1. These zips contain .exe files compiled for PDAs. They must be manually copied to your device.
2. Roms must be located under "My Documents", or one of its subdirectories. If you are placing roms on a CF card, create a directory of this name first.
3. You must have a copy of the GAPI library file "gx.dll" in your PDAs /windows directory. There are various versions of this file, depending on the device. These files can be found at:

4. In case you really mess things up, and cant remember what you did...delete the file "Pocketcoleco.set" from your PDAs root directory!
