I created this Grocery List Database 9+ months ago with HanDBase 2.7x. I upgraded it to HanDBase 3.x and added a form for easy inserting/updating data.

I thought it would be nice to share it with everyone out there. The database has the following Fields:

Buy Indicator
Item
Category
Store
Aisle
Special (Text Field for entering special Instructions or comments)
Quantity
Cost for each 1 item
Calcuated Total (Based on Quantity * Cost per Item)

All records assigned to their own categories

20 Views Created to easily view items.

Buy View Created to show what you have selected to purchase the next time you go shopping. When shopping Simply use the Items To Buy View to show all checked items. As you perform your shopping you simply uncheck each item as you put them in your cart and it disappears from your Items To Buy view.

This Database Comes with 1000 Items already loaded up for your use!

Grocery List is a simple HanDBase applet for grocery shopping. I deliberately kept Grocery List simple to allow the list to fit on the screen without a lot of scrolling, and to eliminate inputting a lot of data while youre trying to shop. Instructions are included.

Pyeditce is the open source IDE and Forum Designer for the PythonCE language. Supports Tkinter. Python Software Foundation License.

These instructions may not work for everyone, nor may all steps be needed for everyone either. This is just what I did to get PythonCE, and accessories, properly installed for PyeditCE use.

1. Download all requirements
2. Run .Net CF v2.0 installer on your PC, which will then install it on your Mobile Device
3. Run PythonCE installer(if that is what version you downloaded) and install to anywhere, but I suggest a storage card of some sort.
4. Unzip Tk/Tcl port and put in corresponding directories. (Windows in Windows and Tcl8.4.3 in the root folder)
5. Run PyeditCE installer and copy unRARed file to your Mobile Device using Active Sync or similar.
6. Run PyeditCE on your device, and go to Edit->Settings before you do any programming to tell PyeditCE where PythonCE is.
7. Start Coding!

If you are a Windows user and have downloaded the wme4palm.zip file:
Extract the files using a standard unzip utility. Note the location of the directory/folder the file is extracted to.
Launch Palm Desktop. Select the Install Tool icon.
Select the correct user name from the User list.
Click on "Add" and browse to the folder where you extracted the files in the previous steps.
Select the folder "wme4palm" and select all the files. Click "Open". Select "Done" on the Installer tool. Place the corresponding handheld in the cradle and press the HotSync button on the cradle.

Locate the Quick Install icon on your Windows desktop.
Drag and drop the wme4palm.zip file onto the Quick Install icon.
Select the correct user name from the User list and close the window.
Place the corresponding handheld in the cradle and press the HotSync button on the cradle.
