ADRIFT Generator is a program written for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP which allows you to create your own Text Adventures. Instead of having to learn a new adventure programming language, Generator takes all the difficulty away leaving you with a simple, yet powerful game designer. Adventures are built up by adding rooms, objects, tasks, events and characters. All you have to do is type in the descriptions, and select how everything interacts with each other from pull down menus and lists.
ADRIFT Runner (Freeware) is the application which takes the adventure files created with Generator, and interprets them as an adventure. Runner attempts to recreate the traditional adventure environment as introduced to computers when adventures first came out, but it also improves on this by suppling extra functionality such as a real-time map, optional control panel (to use the mouse instead of keys), general point-n-click, colour customisation, automatic text completion, graphics & sound, and a highscore table.

Create Your Own Adventure project is an interactive adventure in which the users themselves write the adventure. When the user reaches the end of the adventure, the user will be given the option to continue writing the next part of the adventure.

The user can upload a picture (in any format supported by Web browsers) and define how many choices the player will have. Its possible to connect choices to other parts of the story simply by selecting the chapter number from the dropdown list next to the choice.

iStory is a new spin on interactive fiction and storytelling. It lets you create and play stories in the style of "Choose Your Own Adventure".

But thats not all!

iStory includes StoryScript, which takes the interactive story telling genre to the next level.
Random events, variable tracking, and even entire text games are possible!

I have created 4 sample adventures to show what iStory is capable of:

To create an iStory, use iStory to register your iPhone or iPod Touch. Then, you can create and play iStories on the iStory web site.

Once your iStory is created, Youll be able to play it on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

You can also invite your friends to help author your iStory and create truly collaborative content!
