GPS DIS Pro 3.4

GPS DIS turns your Pocket PC into a car computer running a mega driver information system. All you need is the standard GPS receiver you are already using with your navigation system.
GPS DIS does not need any signals from your vehicles electronics. It exclusively functions with the data it gets from the GPS receiver. It shows updated travel information and warns - when desired also acoustic - if you are exceeding certain speed limits.
The main screen is divided into the following four areas:
Current values
Current speed in km/h, mph or kts
Current driving direction
Current altitude in meters or feet
Sum of all altitude differences covered in slopes
Number of the received satellites and status (green if signal valid, otherwise red)
Total values
Total distance
Total travel time
Total distance covered
Average speed of the total distance
Total travel time with less than 3 mph (e.g. traffic jam, red light...)
Section values
Section travel time
Section distance covered
Average speed of this section
Section travel time with less than 3 mph (e.g. traffic jam, red light...)
Minimum/maximum values
Maximum speed reached
Maximum altitude reached
Minimum altitude reached
Maximum individual time with less than 3 mph (e.g. longest traffic light stop)
GPS DIS can show the values in the following units:
Elevation data
Feet (ft)
Meters (m)
Distances and speeds
Kilometers (km) / kilometers per hour (km/h)
International miles (mi) / miles per hour (mph)
Nautical miles (NM) / knots (kts)
You can change between different display units at any time.
Enhancements:
- Direction display also possible in degrees
