Why such buttons?

Indeed, at a first glance, their layout and symbols are not exactly the way we are used to see in standard interfaces: the digits are small and are placed in the corner and the letters are big and not all of them are displayed. But just think of it: do you often try to dial the number without using the address book? Do you actually need all letters displayed, even those that you never use to search for the contact you need? The answer is evident! Look at the unique layout of letters and you will find it not only comfortable but even enjoyable to use!

Settings.

The program can be set for any language, using the «Settings» application. Besides, «green button» of your communicator is available to enable and disable the vibro mode. This adds to the ease of usage of Smart Dialer. Smart Dialer supports some additional functions: buttons can be configured, layout changed for the left hand. Now you can configure your interface the way you like, and the program is even easier and more convenient to use.

How does Smart Dialer 2.0 differ from version 1.5?

- Quick editing of contacts: press and hold a contact from Smart Dialer to bring up the standard editing menu.
- New feature when editing contacts to link photos and image files. Smart Dialer now displays associated images as a vignette in the main screen (with option available to display or hide).
- Contacts filter added. Option now available to exclude contacts that do not have phone number entries.
- Two search options, either from the beginning of a word or at any starting point.
- Supports 240*240(QVGA) resolution for PDAs with keyboards and square screens.
- Option to switch off device on call completion (to minimise accidental redial).
- Skinnable interface: now buttons can be made transparent and you can choose any background image.
- Multi language: the program supports accented letters of almost all European languages; menu options and text now displays in French according to the base regional settings of the PDA.
