VSPD Mobile 4.2

VSPD Mobile 4.2 is a useful software that is capable of creating up to 20 pure virtual serial ports in your mobile system.

This results in up to 10 virtual serial ports pairs available for testing and integration. You can select any port numbers (between 0 and 9) for virtual serial port pair as well as decide whether to use COM or VSP prefix. For example, you can create virtual pair COM5-COM6 (or VSP0-VSP9).

With Virtual Serial Ports Driver Mobile you can connect one application to another using virtual serial ports pair. This solution can be used, for example, for GPS simulation software.

You will be able to create up to 20 virtual ports and connect every two of them into pair, obtaining 10 virtual port pairs. Test hardware emulators and serial port software: Virtual Serial Port Driver Mobile gives you a wonderful opportunity to test software tools that work with serial ports and serial device emulators. Testing your software with VSPD Mobile is very easy. You simply create a virtual port pair, say COM3-COM4 open COM3 with terminal and COM4 with your software tool, or vice versa. Thus the two programs will be able to exchange serial data as if they were connected with the real null modem cable.
3. Disable existing serial ports and add new ones: Windows Mobile platform offers you a limited number of serial ports: COM0-COM9. However, this may not be enough for your purposes, as some of these ports can be already occupied by other devices. In this case you can disable existing serial ports and create new virtual ones instead.
