FineWS 2.3

FineWS 2.3 is a convenient tool which makes it possible to provide web service from Mobile phone. Using FineWS 2.3, you are possible to build your own web site on your smartphone and provide web service on the Internet. First, you must register a User ID on Fine Mobile Web service (the service hereinafter) to turn your smartphone into web server on the Internet. The User ID, Password and other information registered on the service makes the FineWS 2.3 access to the service. FineWS 2.3 enables to become a web server only via the service.

FineWS as the core product of FINE platform is the web server runs on smartphone. FineWS ensures totally interactive APIs with Apache, but unlike Apache it has the mechanism that it can stably run on embedded systems like smarphone. Even though it can not hold many visitors at the same time, the whole system and process itself will not be affected by the overloading visitors. In other word, the keystone of developing the product is avoiding the whole system affected by the overload of the ability limited CPU and memory of smartphone.

And it is realized to run the most commonly used PHP web applications stably and PHP execution environment is provided just the same with the Apache runs on PC. The structure of the product makes it supported kinds of smartphone OS easily. FineWS 2.3 for Symbian OS supports Symbian OS S60 FP1, FP2, and 5th Edition.
