DotPocket 3 3.0 description

DotPocket 3 3.0 is designed as a useful easy-to-use Windows Mobile 5.0/6.0 application which can help you easily remotely control your Pocket PC using desktop computer screen, mouse and keyboard.

Once you have connected your Pocket PC device to Desktop PC via DotPocket software you can work with all applications installed on PPC from Desktop PC. You can also transfer data from PPC to Desktop PC and vice versa, capture screen images of Pocket PC from desktop system and save them in BMP format and also record video and save it in AVI format. All in one package.

Major Features:

  1. Pocket PC remote control via desktop system
    • Use PC keyboard and mouse to work with all applications installed on your handheld using secure RAPI (Ethernet, COM, USB, or IrDA) or TCP/IP connection.
  2. Transfer files between Pocket PC and Desktop PC
    • dotPocket gives you full access to your Pocket PC file system meaning you can transfer files between your mobile device and Desktop system in both directions using secure connection.
  3. Pocket PC screen capture
    • Grab screenshot of the PocketPC from the desktop system and save it in BMP format.
  4. Pocket PC video capture
    • dotPocket allows you remotely capture video of all activities performed on the Pocket PC and save them in AVI format on Desktop PC.
Requirements:
  1. Pocket PC requirements:
    • Pocket PC Windows Mobile 5.0/6.0 based handheld computer with ARM processors, and 16 level grayscale, 256, 4096 or 64K color display.
    • Approximately 500KB of free disk space.
  2. Desktop PC requirements:
    • Windows 98/XP/Vista.
    • Microsoft ActiveSync (for Win98/XP), Windows Mobile Device Manager (for Win Vista)
