The Filmcalculator is a program for people working in the film business. It is mainly useful for D.O.P.s, camera-operators, assistants, clapperloaders and gaffers but also for still photographers and video cameramen.
Primarily developed as a personal tool, the Filmcalculator has grown to a professional program with users world wide. Distribution as shareware makes it legal to make copies for colleagues and gives everybody the opportunity to try the program and decide if they like it before actually buying it.
The program helps with calculations needed while planning or shooting a production.
