ZapBill 3.6 is a potential and easy to use tool which is designed specially for physicians to capture essential billing information at the point of care.

ZapBill creates a billing record consisting of procedure and diagnosis codes suitable for creating a HCFA-1500 billing form. If you have ZapCode, it automatically picks up the primary billing code. Using ZapBill, you can then add diagnosis codes and additional procedure codes. Now beam your rounding lists to colleagues!New Modifier Code list to fast, easy entry of procedure modifier codes!

One outstanding feature of ZapBill is that it contains links from procedure codes to diagnosis codes so that when you enter a procedure code, it suggests diagnosis codes that are commonly associated with that procedure. All of the libraries of diagnosis codes (ICD) and procedure codes (CPT and HCPCS) can be edited by the user to reflect your personal practice. Libraries of common codes are also available. You can even share your libraries with others. (Complete ICD code list included.) Both ZapCode and ZapBill pick up appointments from the Palm datebook so you don't have to enter patient information. Easy Patient Rounding Management!

Each patient can have an admit date to remind you of length of stay. ZapBill saves your recurring patients and resets their charges so you're ready for the next day. The rounding list tells you the patients where you have entered charges so you won't miss any.The rounding list is sorted by location (Facility and room number) which makes it easy to find them and organize your rounds.

Also added a "Patient Return Date" to complete the superbill functionality for your outpatients. Added a handy Modifier Code list to make it easy to add procedure code modifiers. Added a new "short form" output that makes it easy for billing data entry. Expanded data import from Palm Datebook allows all demographic information to be linked to your desktop. This means no demographic data entry at the point of care. New "QuickPick" list mimics your superbill or route slip to make it easier than ever to enter your commonly used codes.
