iGoniometer 1.0 description

iGoniometer 1.0 is designed to be a high-quality and comprehensive accelerometer based knee goniometer. This eliminates the difficulties of palpating bone landmarks in the femoral segment which result from the cross sectional anatomy. Key assumptions are (a) Morphologically typical adult patient (b) Horizontal supine posture (c) predictable ratio of length femure:tibia. The application is dependent on a one-off calibration against any (fairly) flat surface.
