AquaTrac 4.x

AquaTrac is the Premier Tank Management Software for the Palm OS Platform. The program is split into several individual Modules including the Tank System, Chemistry Readings, Livestock, Medical and Maintenance Modules, AquaChart and AquaCalc. Combined, these easy to use, extensive and comprehensive modules provide you with a complete tool to Manage, Maintain and Organize your Freshwater, Saltwater and/or Reef Tank System(s). Can be used for multiple tanks!

Tank System Module

Use this module to record your tank, or series of tanks. Each tank has it¿s own information that can be recorded, along with 2000 characters of free text memo. These are:

- Tank System Name
- Tank Dimensions (Including International Units of Measure)
- Setup Type
- Setup Date
- Sandbed Information Type of sand, depth and approx. weight (Including International Units of Measure)
- Lighting Information Watts and K
- System Information Refugium, Sump, Wet/Dry, Doser, Pumps, Heaters, Protein Skimmer and many more.
- Filtration and Additional Equipment not included can be added by request. Let us know any options we have left out and we can add them for you!

Chemistry Module

Use this Module to record each chemistry test you perform on your tank(s). Each record is stamped with a date and time, making long-term analysis possible. Record your readings (defined by you based on your scale or test kit) and make up to 2000 characters of notes for the following. Download database files for Test Kits!!!! Several of the more popular test kit values are available via the AquaTools web service (free to registered users). E-mail us and let us know of any Test Kits we are missing, along with the make and model and parameters and we will add them to our database.


Livestock Module

This module will allow you to record each animal you have your tank(s), stored by tank. Copy and move animals back and forth easily by changing the Tank System or using the copy function. Keep records of all the important Livestock information, along with 2000 characters of free memo text, such as:

- Common Name
- Species Name
- Size
- Quantity
- Coloration
- Date Introduced
- Date Removed
- Quantity Removed
- Preferences of each animal ¿ Chemistry Levels, Diet, Lighting, Socialbility, Temperment and Swim Level.
- Also included is the Digital Ink (Dink) drawing capability to sketch out your animal. Color users will be able to colorize the sketches as well. Easy to use strokes for thicker lines and eraser.


Medical Module

This Module will allow you to keep records of each individual animals¿ medical history. Along with 2000 characters of free memo text, you will be able to:
- Illness/Problem
- Treatment
- Date of Illness
- Date of Cure
- Keep detailed notes of Medicines used and treatment techniques.


Maintenance Module

The Maintenance Module has been completely redesigned. Now with 4.0 you will be able to create your Maintenance tasks for any date you wish using all the tasks you wish for each one. Tasks have been combined to include all the previous ones AND 6 custom tasks that you define. Easy to use features like Date Book and To-Do settings will set an Alarm for the date/time you wish and will activate upon reaching the set time. Gone are the days of forgetting to do something critical to your tank!! Standard tasks to handle the majority of routine maintenance on any Aquarium System, or create your own!


Calculator Module

This module will offer 6 useful calculators for you to use while maintaining and setting up your current or future tank(s). Calculators included are:

- Redox Potential
- SandBed Depth and Weight
- Alkalinity Conversion
- Salinity Conversion
- Evaporation Planner


Utilities Module

This module will allow you to sort the Tank and Livestock Databases using several options and fields as the basis of the sort. You can Customize your Tasks and Log Values with this module as well! Combined with the Color Preferences and a NEW Purge Utility makes AquaTrac very flexible and fun to use!


AquaTrac Tools Web Service

AquaTools is a web service that is free of charge for Registered Users. Upon registering you will be provided with a logon and password to access this service. This service will provide you with access to download the Test Kit Specific database values for many popular test kits on the market. You will also find tutorials, FAQs and ideas on how to use AquaTrac, Special Support access and many other features. You will also fine other useful information and How To¿s there for many of the features. We will be adding to this service as time goes on, offering expanded functionality instructions and such.


User Friendly Navigation

Version 4.0 includes Menu Navigation improvements that will allow you to move through the program and it¿s myriad of screens easily and quickly. Using the GoTo options in the menus you can navigate to nearly all the forms in the program that require 3 or more movements to get to. Menu choices for Color Options in the Dink form make using features easier and more intuitive as well.
