Olsen Banden is a gang of 3 members. They perform brilliant but complex coups and are close to the million dollar crime several times.
Egon the leader of the gang is an icon, he is genious and vain and somehow very unlucky. Benny is the driver and the technical specialist. He admires Egon and is always happy, while Keld the last member of the gang is nervous and probably most sensible of the gang members. The headquarters of the gang is set in Kelds home, with his whife, Yvonne as the eternal irrisistable but annoing character.
Over a period of 30 years from 1968 to 1998, 14 movies were made, all seen by millions of viewers, especially in Scandinavia and Germany. Some places like in Norway and Berlin Olsen Banden has a cult status.
