Liberty is an emulator which plays games originally designed for the GameBoyTM architecture. Finally, you can carry all of your favorites in the palm of your hand!
Hundreds of popular Gameboy-compatible games are playable! Other popular games which run well in Liberty and only take 32k(!) each are: Dr. Mario, Motocross, Tennis, Scramble, Asteroids, Centipede, Bomb Jack and Missile Command.
Important Note:
GameBoy games are not included and must be purchased separately. You must own the original cartridge to legally play any commercial games in Liberty. Version restrictions:
- Liberty requires overclocking on most Palm devices. Afterburner is recommended by Gambit Studios, and is even available at a discount when purchased with Liberty!
- (To test your device speed, use Benchmark - you should get 250% or better)
- Partial sound support (due to the limited speed of the Palm processor)
- Emulation of GameBoy games included most games which run on the classic (B&W) GameBoy. Titles which run on the GameBoy color only are not supported.
