Arcade Reality 1.2

No more killing feeble aliens on the tiny 2" x 2" screen! In this game you must handle hostile creatures floating around you in the real world.
How is this possible? Imagine you have a device, like night vision goggles, that can detect out-of-this-world objects... and when playing Arcade Reality, your Treo is such device.
How does it work?
Game objects are overlaid on the live camera view (this technology is called Augmented Reality). When you turn around, your motion is calculated based on what is seen by the camera and the game view gets updated accordingly.
As you can see, motion is the key. Unlike most games where you only train your fingers, you must actually move to play Arcade Reality!

Apart from being a nice Augmented Reality demonstration, this game also has:

o Arcade Reality - the main mode, featuring the FPP shooting scored for precision, interleaved with the special "bonus levels"
o Infinite Shooter - simple FPP shooter without sophisticated goals, just kill everything that moves
o Asteroids Mode - 3D TPP version of the well known game. Steering the spaceship feels similar to an RC toy - you must figure out which side is "left" or "right" depending on the current orientation

Starting with Arcade Reality v1.2 you can change the look of the aliens - and it is as simple as taking a photo! Now any everyday object can become your enemy in the game.
Customized alien pictures are grouped into "Alien Sets". You can switch between different sets by selecting them from the list (in "Settings / Custom Aliens"). Alien sets can be transferred between devices by beaming, bluetooth or email (click "Send" once inside the set).
Version restrictions:
