Ever dream of controlling your Palm Handheld directly from your PC? With PdaReach now it is possible! All you need to do is just connect your PDA to your PC with the HotSync cable, and PdaReach will take care of the rest to bring you the what-you-see-is-what-you-get experience live on the PC monitor.
Below are just a few examples of what PdaReach can do for you:
PdaReach will display the real-time content of your Palm screen on the PC and allow you to use mouse and keyboard to interact with it. UI update is very responsive even for a 320-by-480 screen (such as Tungsten T5).
Lots of keyboards shortcuts are built-in to trigger various Palm functions (e.g. App buttons are mapped to F1 ~ F4, see help for a list of keyboard shortcuts). This makes UI navigation possible even without touching the mouse for most of the time.
PdaReach will try to turn off - or dim, depending on the kind of device you have - the PDA screen while allowing you to interact with it from the PC -- a great way to save battery power on your PDA when it is in use.
PdaReach will display a floating edit window over text fields so that you can easily edit the content of a Palm text field on the PC -- including copy, paste content from/to other PC applications.
You have the choice to switch to a series of Palm skins as well as two different sizing. You can use one kind of Palm device to demonstrate other Palm devices from the PC.
PdaReach provides a Theater mode - perfect for demonstrating your products on a full screen display, especially on a projector.
You can save any Palm application UIs you see to graphic files on the PC with the screenshot feature.
PdaReach allows you to perform HotSync as simple as doing Ctrl-S from your PC, without the need to even touch the device again while PdaReach is running.
If you need to install a single Palm application (.prc or .pdb file) to your device, just drag-and-drop that file to the PdaReach window and it will be installed immediately. You dont even need to perform the lengthy HotSync.
PdaReach automatically rotates the skin when your device is in landscape mode (only applicable to Tungsten T5 or T3).
