The .NET Compact Framework has no built in support for accessing the Pocket PC and Smartphone built in PIM functionality (Pocket Outlook). This product provides a managed code API around the PocketOutlook and related functionality in Windows Mobile. Appointments, Contacts, Tasks, Emails and SMSs can be viewed and manipulated from the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework.
Professional Edition
As a registered user there is no restriction on how many times you may distribute the runtime files with your applications. The professional edition includes a full install of help documentation into your Visual Studio collection.
Community Edition
The Community Edition will work on any supported emulator or device but features only a subset of functionality. You may distribute the Community Edition with your non-commercial / Academic applications. Documentation for the Community Edition is provided via the web.
