Embedded VOIP SIP Developers Kit 1.2 was designed to provide you with a great solution for developing software/hardware to enable device to device phone calls using SIP/H323 phone right at the electronics level.

The design is based on Hybrid Combination of RFC SIP Protocol and Windows RTC and is today successfully ported to Windows CE/Pocket PC/Smart Phone.

With a memory overhead of 3 MB - the telephony engine very well fits the needs of engineers looking for porting highly advanced SIP or H323 PROTOCOL to the embedded world. Research Lab further enables you to create production level voip system with following tools Available :

• A complete multi-lingual speech synthesis workbench using Festival TTS Available
• A complete multi-lingual speech recognition workbench using ISIP ASR Available
• Speaker Verification (with two algorithms) Ported to Embedded

• libsnd.dll Make DEVICE-PC, PC-DEVICE, PC-Phone, or phone-phone calls or create Instant Messaging (IM) sessions over the Internet on Windows CE Both voice and video calls can be established on DEVICE-DEVICE calls.

Presence information on a list of contacts is also supported. Installation Instructions

• Download from Microsoft Web Site : Windows CE 5.0 Emulator [This requires internet to install or starts giving installer errors]
• Using the Emulator tool, please point your Storage Card Directory to the one where you have unzipped this package directory (wincevoipsip01.zip), please copy every file from this folder to the folder shown below, this is the root folder of the Windows CE OS
• Done ? As shown below double click (execute) Sipphone.exe from the list, this starts the voip system , make sure the Ethernet + Service Provider Gateway is working and Click Login.
  
• Once connection is established, dial a number and click call to establish a phone call. Click Hang-up/Answer upon hearing a "British telephone" ring
